Good area, nice hotel, it was strange to walk through the lobby and just be stared at by the employees, no greetings, nothing, same with the restaurants and cleaning people.

Great, but as newlyweds got pit on the 2nd floor and you could hwar a lot of street noise. Didn't bother me, but may bother others.

This is an excellent hotel but with a few tweaks it would be amazing. Young staff are friendly and professional. Pool area is great with plenty of sun beds available. Italian restaurant outstanding and well worth a visit. Rooms are modern but extra storage needed and table and chairs on balcony required. Overall probably one of the best hotels on the island

Dear Hotel, I am writing to express my deep distress and disappointment regarding a serious incident that occurred during my stay at the Nattivo Collection Hotel. My reservation number is _____, and I checked in on August 5th and was supposed to stay until Friday. I traveled solo as I am a travel blogger and writer on the side and I am writing a piece on Colombia. Regretfully, I had to check out after only a few hours. The night I checked in, I went to bed early as I wasn’t feeling well. In the middle of the night, I was abruptly awakened by someone entering my room unannounced. I screamed in fear, and thankfully, the safety latch on the door prevented them from fully entering. Without saying a word, the person quickly shut the door and left. This left me feeling extremely violated and unsafe, unable to sleep for the remainder of the night. By 4 am, I was forced to book an early return flight, cutting short the vacation I had planned due to the overwhelming fear of staying any longer. The following morning, I reported this terrifying incident to the front desk staff. To my dismay, they did not initially show concern or offer any form of apology. It was only after I insisted that I felt unsafe and needed to leave immediately that they began to take my situation seriously. I was informed that I would be given a full refund and was advised to follow up with Expedia. After further investigation, I was told that

We had an EXCELLENT stay at Nattivo, San Andres. While checking in, you're greeted with a coconut refresher( non alcoholic)&& genuine hospitality with a smile from the front desk! ILAN was an absolute GEM, & We can't thank him enough for all that he did to contribute to making our stay a pleasant one! The check-in process was smooth, and they were more than willing to accommodate our requests for a room with a view!! Located in "central" San Andres, just outside the front door are various convenient stores, shopping, restaurants, night life && of course the beach!!!! Breakfast is a complimentary buffet, with tons of options & again a staff ,on deck & ready to make sure you have everything you need!! Have a drink or grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the views of the island, from the rooftop! Our room was always clean & hospitality was just a phone call away if we needed anything! At the back/side entrance is a foot shower so that you don't bring the beach back to your room! Ilan escorted us to the showers , with towels to dry our feet! Can't say enough about ILAN! He's amazing, and we hope Nattivo appreciates him as much as we do!! Book the trip, && stay at this outstanding location! We can't wait to go back!!!!

I liked the general cleanliness and customer service as well as professionalism of the front desk staff. That said, I was extremely disappointed with nearly 2 hour wait to be served at a hotel sponsored dinner event which we were invited to. For the most part the staff at the 7th floor restaurant were cordial but I was not impressed at all with the customer service I got from the restaurant supervisor. A case in point was when he gave my meal to one of his employees to pass on to me when he was less than 1 feet away. He could have delivered the meal himself and explained the long wait times but that did not happen. Perhaps, some cultural sensitivity training may be appropriate here as we all know the hospitality industry requires all staff to be customer-oriented and cordial to all customers regardless of their racial or cultural background.
