We had a great stay at Somos! The staff was very friendly and always super quick to respond to any requests and questions. The continental breakfast was limited and nothing outstanding, but very convenient. Despite being in an unexpected and unkept alley, the location is super close and convenient to everything in the El Poblado neighborhood.

Had a great solo trip to Medellin while staying at this hotel. Loved the location, very close to all the clubs and restaurants, but not super loud.

We had a great stay at the Somos. Staff was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay great. They arranged airport transportation, offered tours, and even packed us a to-go breakfast when we had to leave at 3am to make an early morning flight. The rooms are lovely and well appointed (two suitcase holders would he helpful for couples with two suitcases), and the buffet breakfast is delicious. Super convenient to the Poblado park, the metro and bus system. Door locks are a little tempermental, but once you get the hang of it, everything else is great.

Breakfast pictures on other reviews are completely outdated. They have a buffet style breakfast with literally: scrambled eggs, bread, 2 different types of fruit and the soup of the day. That’s it. Nothing else. No fancy breakfast like on the other pictures. They host parties at all times of the day, extremely loud. Luckily my kids sleep with a white noise and it blocked out all the noise from outside and downstairs. No parking lot so Uber/taxi was the only option. Service wasn't great except from Dayhan (She was actually very nice)..You walk into the hotel and you don’t even get acknowledged at all. On the 2nd day there was no hot water to shower, they told us to simply wait. You look out the balcony and see a trailer, the land will turn into a shelter soon. Not the experience we expected to have on our family vacation. Definitely not coming back and wouldn’t recommend it.

We loved that this Somos location was so close to everything but also tucked away from the loud clubs. The breakfast buffet was great! The wifi in our room was iffy, but very strong when downstairs in the restaurant area.

Rooms and the hotel were quite nice, well above average. The service and food were great too. The WiFi was spotty, on occasions it tested above 100 Mb/sec, at other times it was slow (<5 Mb/sec). While the hotel does have an elevator, be aware that certain rooms still require stairs to access your room (which may be a problem for those with disabilities). Overall a nice place, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

It was a good experience in general. The best thing of the hotel is the people that work in there.They do their best to help the guests. They breakfast are good and you can rest without noise and still be near Poblado and good restaurants.
