Short stay on a work trip. It is very relaxing and welcoming. Safari themed rooms add to the relaxing atmosphere. A place to visit with the kids and family. Ample free parking, the restaurants serve tasty meals. Mostly buffet breakfast however a few times it has been table d'hote.

Room was great but hot breakfast was disappointing. Bacon was dry, fried eggs like rubber and beans tasteless . Fruit and other cold meats and cereals were okay.

Hotel and staff were okay. Staff was friendly and welcoming but not enough of them. Hotel room was very dark, shower was leaking and TV wasn’t working. Hotel restaurant advertised the buffet menu for lunch or dinner but when we asked about it they said that it’s closed. Swimming pool was okay but very dirty changing rooms with mud on the floor. Nobody seemed bothered about general cleanliness in the changing rooms. Life quards were great though and children pool was good for very little ones. Everything including breakfast, dinner, pool has to be booked in advance with the time slots which we weren’t aware of. Our room was connected to another room which had another family in and we were up for the most of the night because their child was upset. It’s not really idea of having relaxing break. Staff in the hotel was friendly but generally uniterested, the whole place is lacking some customer service and some parts of the hotel need refurbishment and appear very runned down. We would not be coming back anytime soon, it’s just not worth it.

Service is always great here - the waitress remembered me from my last stay, several months ago! Lovely lady, always friendly and very helpful. The greeter is always lovely too - very chatty when you enter the restaurant. Breakfast is a bit cheap but it's included, so very good value and there's a reasonable amount of variety and it's fresh. Rooms are very spacious, clean and tidy. Always a good experience

This was my third trip to this hotel in as mNt weeks, Love staying here as everything is first class, rooms are well serviced everyday, friendly staff, and an excellent restaurant. Only one negative - used the leisure facilities for the first time this trip. Decided to have a steam in the street room, there was definitely a fault, despite being sat as far away as possible from the steam generator, both by lower legs are burnt from the intense head, the water on the floor was so hot it was painful to even walk across the floor. Only really noticed the burns next day when showering.

The food was a huge disappointment and certainly not worth the money. Dinner was incredibly overpriced — we paid £20 for a main dish that tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave. The quality was far from what we’d expect for that price point, and it seemed like the hotel was more focused on making a profit than providing guests with a quality meal. Breakfast was also below expectations, with limited choices that felt like a basic continental setup. For the price, we expected far more variety and quality in the offerings. The rooms were just average, and we found the beds to be uncomfortable. The mattresses felt old and in need of an upgrade. After a long day of travel, we were looking forward to a restful night, but the lumpy mattress made it hard to get a good sleep. On the plus side, the staff were polite and welcoming, and they seemed genuinely eager to help. However, despite their efforts, the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations. The hotel has potential but is in desperate need of improvements, especially regarding food quality and room comfort. We wouldn’t recommend staying here unless some of these issues are addressed

Really nice stay, with well organised meal times and very efficient service. The hotel is great as all staff very friendly and helpful, with great atmosphere. The hotel is needing a bit of tlc and refurb as carpets getting worn and grubby. Great for access to park and animals, and parking really good. Only real complaint is the food, which although is very good and nice, it is quite pricey.

Room was spacious and comfortable with a king-size bed and bunk beds. However the location of the room (302) was not ideal as it was in between a communal area and a cleaners store room and staircase so was fairly noisy. Also the window was tiny which made the room very dark and the lighting in the room is poor. The room over looked the hotels 'bin' area which was also not very appealing. Bathroom was adequate although the shower pressure was poor. Breakfast was also very average. Selection was ok but quality was poor and hot food was either over cooked and dry or cold. Restaurant seating area and tables were not cleaned well in between sittings. Hotel has so much potential but sadly doesn't need to raise its standards as they know they have a captive audience and will always sell rooms.

Stayed 3 nights. Overall the hotel was nice, and was well thought out in some respects but severely lacking in others. The 'meet and greet' with the Gruffalo/Cocomelon was great, but the planned activities in the evening were severely lacking in thought. Some paper masks, a box of old crayons and some Halloween music playing on a speaker weren't much to get excited about. The pool facilities were excellent although sauna was Out Of Order and has been for a while. The bunk beds were cool for the kids and overall decor was quite fun throughout, but the room layout very strange and the rooms were very dark with poor lighting. Breakfast was terrible. Extremely low quality hot breakfast - sausages almost inedible. No Coffee machine, just a flask of instant with a pump, which in this day and age isn't great. Dinner was very over priced for what it was. Some staff members were nice, but majority were either lacking in social skills or just didnt care and were quite rude. I did question the staff members who were nice, whether they were being nice because they cared or if they were being nice because they wanted a 'postiive review'. A few questions which seemed like general interest were then quickly followed with them providing their name and asking to leave them a 'positive review'. Overall would I come back? Probably not. Which is a shame because the base is there for this to be a great place but too many cost cutting measures in place and a general poor level of customer service.

Accidentally booked this online. Tried multiple avenues for getting refunded. They couldn’t be reached. Haven’t picked up their listed phone in 3 days of trying to contact them and did not respond to any email inquiries. Never checked in or even visited, but without a doubt the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.
