Green View Hotel

Stopped over for one night. Had a very nice curry in the evening and good full English breakfast. Room was clean and tidy and shower very good.

It is an excellent small-sized hotel, the staff are very helpful, rooms are clean and have air conditioning. Facilities on site are as expected. Being in easy reach of the M25/A2/M2/M20 and a choice of London or the Kent Downs, it is in a prime location but sadly isolated. There aren't many places to visit locally at night on foot, but Bluewater Shopping Centre, Brands Hatch, and the Coldrum Long Barrow are all within easy reach by car. For visiting family and friends, this is the perfect hotel for the area, and can recommend booking a room here. For tourists who don't know the area, it's too far to walk from Dartford or Longfield Train Stations, but ideal as a base if renting a car, especially if you want to focus on Dartford, Eysnford, Lullingstone and the area of outstanding natural beauty that is the Kent Downs.

This was a convenient place to stay and the staff were pleasant. The room was good and had a good supply of beverage, including bottled water

Budget hotel so you don’t expect too much. Staff friendly and helpful. Walls paper thin, bed not comfortable. Room not very clean. Everything smelt slightly of greasy chips.

This property wad discussing, Refused to stay and the staff were extremely unhelpful and rude when I pointed out the many faults in the room, Bodily fluids all over the bed sheets, dirt mark on the walls and doors, No refund given and no option to offer clean room. Avoid at all costs

Clean, Quiet, Friendly

Room was tidy, clean and functional, but the facilities are pretty basic, however I knew this prior to booking so that was not a problem. I found the staff friendly and helpful so that was pleasing, and the food in the restaurant although primarily Indian was very good. My one real gripe was that the hand basin was extremely small, and the tap itself filled most of the opening for your hands, therefore it was difficult to just wash your face to freshen up, without getting water all over the floor. Overall the hotel provided all I really needed for my 2 night stay, but I wouldn't recommend for longer visits.

Good value hotel, comfortable and clean rooms. Great shower too.

It was just a stop over but the place was clean and the staff friendly.

Hi all The beds sheets had stains on it couldn’t bend down to brush your teeth. A shelf is in the way and the room was so small.

Very clean and friendly only 1 negative or you could say a positive, was that some inconsiderate person decided to smoke in their room setting the fire alarm of at 2.20am. 😟

Great location for travelling to Brands Hatch circuit as only 10mins drive away. Staff friendly and rooms clean would recommend.

Great staff on in the lobby.. nice clean room, comfy bed, good shower, large tv.. food in the restaurant is outstanding and fairly priced.. I recommend the sizzling tandoori mixed grill ! I travel most weeks for work and would recommend this place

The walls are paper thin, could hear a bloke snoring from below, hear an couple arguing from behind (at 11pm). Water pressure is fantastic, clean and modern rooms. Staff were great, good food choices next to the hotel. Nothing there and a 45 minute walk from the train station

A good cheap hotel for staying in. Nothing fancy but more than comfortable. The walls are a little thin so noise from neighbouring rooms can be heard but this didn't really affect me. Free parking and there was plenty on both nights I stayed. Good value, good customer service and a good nights sleep.

On arrival, i waited in reception for a few minutes then started shouting Hello for attention. When he finally came out of the kitchen, there was no apology for keeping me waiting, he just asked me my name. He then made me sign a sheet of paper with room details on, but there were no terms and conditions for the booking, so I enquired what I was signing and he advised that he would need to print out the t’s and c’s, but he couldn’t be bothered and that I should stop worrying as there’s nothing to worry about. He then went on to tell me my room number and location, which happened to be on the 3rd floor. There are no lifts and therefore I had to walk up 6 flights of stairs with my luggage. The room was ok, dusty in some areas but I just tried to make a good situation out of a bad situation, knowing I would never stay here again. During my stay, I could hear everything in other rooms, incl. the banging of hotel doors as other guests were leaving. At 10.40am, whilst still sleeping, I heard a persistent loud bang at my door which scared me out of my sleep, when I put my pyjamas on and rushed to the door in a panic, I was advised that I need to check out at 11, I grabbed my phone & showed him that checkout was actually 11.30am, he continued to tell me I was wrong, but then he agreed that it was their mistake and I could leave at 11.30am. I could say more, but ran out of characters. At 11.30am I left my key at reception as there was no one there. I won’t be returning ever!
