One of the best hotels we’ve had the pleasure of staying with. We were there for a 6 night stay and we will definitely be coming back, the staff was so attentive to our needs. Everything was kept perfectly need and stocked throughout our stay. I ordered tea with room service half way through our stay and the staff kept a tea service in our room with a kettle for the rest of our stay. It was so thoughtful! They also left nice hand written notes and small treats (lotion, sweets etc) throughout. The water pressure in the shower was so great as well as the shampoo and body wash. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel and their incredible standards.

I’ve always been of the opinion that the very best hotels in the world make you feel welcome on arrival, at home during your stay and valued when you leave. The Ham Yard hotel absolutely nailed all three and invariably gave us the very best stay we have ever enjoyed from any hotel in the world. My wife and children were equally wowed by the friendly staff and superb service and our room was beautiful. We really didn’t want to leave and are already olanning a return in the future to this exceptional establishment.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel! If you are looking for an upscale, trendy hotel in a wonderful location, this is your spot. The service is impeccable, from small details like milk and cookies left for our daughter to the concierge returning our call at midnight. The restaurant, grounds and hotel are well taken care of with carefully curative artsy design details. Gorgeous, spacious rooms that make you forget you’re so close to a bustling city. The hotel is nestled away in a quiet corner of a hip area. Very walkable to great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We felt extremely welcomed with our daughter but my husband and I can’t wait to go back and enjoy an adults trip soon!

Generally an awesome hotel delivering an awesome experience and consistent with other firmdale hotels.
I was disappointed in concierge directing me to the web when I was trying to organise a last minute day trip to Oxford. Felt they could have done more to make it happen. Ended up having to book a Avis car myself with no assistance from hotel staff.

Amazing stay from start to finish. I was there for three nights to celebrate my birthday and also the 90th birthday of my Great Aunt.
All the family met up over the weekend and the staff were so helpful and friendly to us all.
They made a real fuss of my Aunt and she loved everything about her room and all the public rooms in the hotel.
Very busy bar and restaurant but there was always a room to sit in if you wanted a bit of quiet.
Honesty bars a great idea in the library and drawing room but you could also call for service.
Large and luxurious room I really did not want to leave.
