Hello. The check-in process was flawless starting with the email to pre check-in and concluding with our early arrival at the front desk where the staff took care of us quickly and efficiently which was appreciated since we had just flown in from Canada and were very tired. The rooms were clean, efficient and as described - closer to a dormitory room than a high end traditional hotel room - which was fine as we were only there for the one night prior to getting on to a cruise. The hotel is easily reached from the Southampton Central station, the cruise port and the Old Town.

Friendly staff on front desk willing to accommodate our requests, room clean but basic is an understatement, I know it is a budget hotel but at least heating (we had a tiny oil radiator in the room that didn’t heat it) luckily we had blankets in the car!! And no kettle or tea and coffee in the room had to pay extra at the desk when checking in

The people running it were very friendly on arrival. The rooms although feeling like a hostel were pretty clean. Unfortunately did not sleep well due to noise of the road and other people staying. Youths running up and down the hallways screaming their heads off at 3am obviously drunk or high. Wouldn’t stay again but was fine.

Don't bother paying for the breakfast. The warm fatty meat selection and what looked to be day old cheese is the highlight of a poor selection. The rooms were generally clean. Small, practical and good for a single night. Not longer.

It’s a budget hotel. Very basic, amenities just toilet paper roll and body towels and soaps. Staff are friendly. The room is clean.

The layout of the room is very strange. The shower cubicle is beside the bed and there’s a mirror opposite it so not much privacy in that respect. The toilet is in a cubicle of its own. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the room was FREEZING as the heater didn’t work.

Lovely clean room. Comfortable bed. Television, off room shower which is nice and powerful. Separate toilet. The only issue is the noise of the Docks and the main road. Needs attention on the windows, possibly triple glazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a good basic hotel. The bed is comfortable, the showers are hot with good water pressure, it's not noisy, the free wifi always works.
