Everything was fine for short stay. Rooms are small but well appointed. Better to get a room not facing the front as the road gets a little noisy

The folks here are amazing! Front desk staff was very help and conversational and the cleaning staff was impeccable. However, the Fairway is an old building which comes with little soundproofing between rooms and for dampening street noise. Also, the room became uncomfortably hot, luckily the window opened allowing for a bit of a cool off.

Small single room expected. Climbing numerous steep steps to 3rd floor not expected. I was ok as i am reasonably fit but for someone else my age (81) it could have proved difficult.

The Fairway Hotel, located near King's Cross Station, offers a convenient and budget-friendly option for travelers. The room, while clean and warm, was incredibly small—more of a "shoebox" than a spacious retreat. The shower pressure was a major downside, barely providing enough water flow to be functional. However, for a one-night stay, the hotel serves its purpose well, offering a comfortable bed for a decent night’s sleep in a central location. It's ideal if you’re just looking for a place to rest, but don’t expect luxury or high-end amenities.

The room was on the 3rd floor at the very top of the building. It was exhausting carrying luggage up there. Sadly I wasn't given the choice of floor level, when booking, so I had no idea until I arrived. My partner is disabled and found the staircases quite difficult to navigate. The staff were very friendly, but the room was too compact and overpriced for what was on offer. Sadly, the noise from the other guests kept us awake, as did the noise from the street level. There was a constant racket of people walking past, having conversations, vehicles reversing and beeping, emergency service vehicles with sirens on a frequent basis. The bed was comfortable, but the room was very hot, even with the window ajar, and we barely got any sleep before having to get up at 3:30 to catch a european train. All in all, the location was a great help, enabling us to get to St Pancras on time, but I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

Great one night stay the lovely girl on reception had my room ready to check in at 1130! Single room perfect for a one night visit to friends . Very comfy bed nice thick Duvet - the towel could be bigger but ok! I’d def recommend to anyone doing similar as myself to stay here.

Close to the train station but very small and feels like a hostel/cheap motel. No ac. The man who works the desk was extremely rude and unhelpful and yelled at me while I was checking into my room. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable staying here and would not recommend. There are no elevators and several flights of stairs with an unstable handrail and very narrow hallway/stairway.

Great property, clever use of area to maximise the living space. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, even swapping us to a ground floor room to help with my massive case! Perfect location for the Eurostar. Will stsy here again.

Firstly, thanks to the very friendly staff member who helped get my room ready earlier and helped carry my suitcase up 4 flights of stairs (no lift). This was unfortunately the only highlight of my 1 night stay. This is not really a hotel, more like a hostel/motel and it is super run down, with a strong sewage/drain smell in room the whole night. According to staff this smell is present in all the rooms and surrounding area and if they tried to get it fixed they would lose fheir license to operate, due to old age of building it is not easily fixable. So not great. I had to sleep with window right next to my head in cold winter just to try get some fresh air, and tried to seal the bathroom “door” with towels and clothes. Single room is super small, dirty walls and bed spread, broken toilet seat etc. Only stay here if you desperately need a small bed to sleep and do not have much money and you’re traveling early/late from st pancras, otherwise I would avoid. Hotel is very busy and obv doing quite well, but it must be due to location next to st pancras and relatively low rates.

Location is brilliant for the Eurostar but we barely slept at all due to the noise of others in the hotel who seemed to be moving furniture and crashing around all through the night! Not sure if this was renovation works or a guest with strange actions but it did not make for a good start to our trip sadly!
