Very comfortable place to stay. Quiet and clean. Good breakfast, restaurant, and bar. Staff were excellent. Easy walk to university, train station, and Port Cergy for dining. Good internet. Not luxurious but perfectly comfortable.

We used the hotel as a base for our trips to EuroDisney, Paris and Giverny. The room was excellent and the staff were really helpful. I only speak very basic French so the effort made by hotel staff to speak English was very much appreciated. The only thing we would have liked different was an air conditioned room as it was rather hot at night however this didn’t spoil our stay. We’ll definitely be returning to this hotel. The car park is really secure. Local shops being close was an added bonus and the park area was great for our kids.

good hotel in Cergy with nice breakfast, comfortable bed and updated room. The main issue I had is that the AC is not working well enough to cool down the room at night when the weather is hot, and there is no screen at the window like everywhere else in France so you can't leave your window open either if you care about mosquitos. It was hot in the room, too hot to sleep comfortably

Facility was adequate and the free onsite parking was definitely a bonus.
The bed and sofa is comfy and there is sufficient working space. Hotel is highly recommended for a business trip.
The reviews about the wifi are accurate, it's rock solid.
My only gripe is that the building is showing signs of age. Wall decor seems to be a little dated with the rough textured wall design and old lighting. The heating in the room is controlled by a manual thermostat dial that doesn't seem to work very well. I noticed other occupants requesting for additional heating as the built-in heating was insufficient and the vents were blowing cold air.
The fitness room has a couple machines, a combination workout machine, cycling machine, eliptical machine, and two treadmills. It's not a full-fledged gym so no free weights if that is what you're looking for.
The gourmet bar serves decent food but if you ever get hungry and not want to leave the hotel, there's always UberEats!

The bed was extremely small and the mattress terribly uncomfortable…way too small for 2 people!
The room has no cross ventilation and air was stagnant, no air conditioning.
Almost no storage place for clothing, no drawers, only a few hangers, had to live out of a valise!
Had to wait 3 days till room safe was repaired.
Hotel needs a total and complete renovation.

I have stayed at Novotel Cergy a couple of times and will likely return as it is conveniently located for business. Overall, I would rate the hotel as very good: particularly good value for money. The hotel is comfortable, although some of the furnishings in the rooms are perhaps a little tired. Hotel has a good restaurant (only open Mon-Thurs at present. Presumably due to Covid?). Cergy port is a 10 min walk away, with a few nice food & drink options.

Two guys on the London to Paris cycle trip. Hotel had good cycle storage, was clean, comfortable, great pool. Not the best of locations, quiet area. Went down to the restaurant for food in the evening to be told it was not open. Only bar snacks available not great but OK. Whilst in the bar, three coaches turned up and the passengers checked in. They then went into the restaurant for a meal, this was the reason the restaurant was not available to us. Breakfast was a farce. Too many people, not enough tables, staff, cutlery, food etc. etc. On a normal day without coaches I'm sure it would be OK. The situation would not put me off booking this hotel in the future.We had walked down to the port (10 mins) for some food in the afternoon, really nice little area lined with cafes/bars restaurants so the lack of evening meal was not a major issue.

The purpose of our trip was to visit family in the area. The location of this hotel is good - five minutes on foot to Port au Cergy, lakes and Cergy Village. Large mall and supermarket close by. Parks right behind hotel and many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is a bit run down though. It could use a makeover and modern decor. Good wifi connection.
