Staff was wonderful, and would like to especially thank Carole Soooo helpful Couldn't ask for anyone better Location is great - less than 100 meters from where a lot of tours depart and many great dining options within five or ten minutes walk

Hotel and room were nice. Bed was comfortable. Was a bit surprised our room was interior with no outside window. Mini split was nice to allow for temp control with no window

Nice property. Clean and quiet. No elevator but we knew that going in. Parking was spotty but we were able to deal with it. Nice area with great sights.

The Hotel was very nice however a lack of staff made life a little awkward The bar was not staffed at all

Great location on the main street, parking nearby once familiar with the area and right next to a supermarket 😉 Lovely view too of the famous cathedral from the bedroom. Didn’t have any breakfast so can’t really comment although looked a decent choice mainly continental with scrambled eggs and a choice of cereal. Bayeux was ideally located for visiting the main WW2 sites which was the purpose of my visit.

I stayed in room number one at the Churchill hotel. When I arrived, I told the front desk that I did not want to stay in this room as it was essentially just outside. The door was the restaurant. By 6:30 in the morning, I was awakened by 40 American tourists having breakfast and chattering loudly, I received a refund but was very frustrated by being awaken loudly in the morning and then spending two hours working to get a refund.

The property had character, was in a good location. Shower was hand held. Did not slide up and down had to hold in hand. No kettle, cups and tea in room

Excellent location to walk around the town. Big complaint about wifi as our room had none even though there was wifi on the property. One small complaint is the walls are thin so we could hear the next room coughing and talking. We were also told by staff that the nearby church was having a light show and found out that it had ended the week prior. The parking is whatever you can find but it is free from 7pm until 9:am at least!

Our stay at the Churchill Hotel Bayeux was great. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the room was very comfortable. The restaurant recommendations were fabulous. Just a heads up - no elevator.

Worn, no shampoo or wash clothes. Stairs, but they helped with luggage. Excellent breakfast.

This hotel is older and could use a little bit of a facelift but served its purpose and we had a comfortable bed close to dining, parking, and our tour start. I would stay here again.

Staff and property were very good. Parking is a big issue. Not sure we would stay again as finding a parking spot was very difficult.

Breakfast is good. Location is excellent. Driving to the hotel was very difficult. Google maps could not do it. Parking was extremely difficult, although inexpensive.

Great location

Nice place for downtown location, friendly staff and helpful with directions etc. but would avoid staying in junior suite or ones with triple beds , apparently they only have disabled bathrooms that have no separator between shower and toilet as a result, wholwmdloor gets wet ! The hand held in the disabled bath came apart when trying to adjust and the shower soap gel pump dispenser did not work in room 1 . Had to take it out of the dispenser to use it . First time in ages that staying in a hotel , none of us took a bath , was even debating if we move to a different hotel but was already too late and after 10 pm . The breakfast is just ok and no fresh fruits like oranges or bananas. The rooms are carpeted and adds to stuffiness and damp smell. Now the good points - great location in center of town , walkable to cathedral and restaurants , decent parking nearby , do NOT use google maps or Apple Maps to find hotel , instead look for place de Quebec , that will lead to back of hotel and parking . Also park is free from 7pm to 9 am , we were a bit late in picking up car at 10:15 and got ticketed for $25 fine ! Consider it as donation to bayeux city council . Also friendly staff and helpful, they have great book collection in the small library behind , check it out . The photographs of the city during and after dday are memorable indeed. Great CENTRAL AC.

Hotel advertised having WiFi but it was not available from guest rooms. Cell reception is also nonexistent so communication was challenging. The room is so small the bathroom door can’t open all the way because it hits the bed. There is a single electrical outlet in the entire room. WiFi was sometimes available from the breakfast area, which serves a very mediocre overpriced breakfast buffet. The location is excellent but I would never stay at this property again.
