ibis Montpellier Centre Comédie

We came to Montpellier for a wedding celebration and we intentionally booked ibis centre comedie for its convenient walkable distance, and easy access as well as central location... our stay was nothing but smooth and comfortable and the front line team, were all super helpful, hats down to "Paula" from the front line team, who always went the extra mile to make sure our family gathering is happening in the best circumstances plus all guests were well set. This was not our first stay in Montpellier nor in Ibis, and my only comment is that the hotel is due for some refurbishment and if I had a recommendation, would be for house keeping to be more precise in their work... but none of above was a breaker to our holiday and celebration and now Ibis comes with memories .

Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was constantly replenished. The reception area was welcoming, cool and spacious. The rooms need a little updating, more specifically the bathrooms. The location of this hotel is perfect.

The pictures on line are misleading. Felt more like a private room at a hostel than a nice hotel. In need of some serious upgrades, and in need of deeper cleaning ( especially in the bathrooms). The staff is very nice and accommodating.

The hotel was very nice and the downtown location was very practical. During my stay it was very hot in Montpellier and the only limitation experienced was that the air conditioning system was not powerful enough to cool the room to my satisfaction.

Loved the location. Great for a 3 star accommodation. Staff was very accommodating , helpful and pleasant.

Bathroom was dirty, they never went to clean de room. Staff was ok but the hotel is horrible, even though its in a good area the room was dirty.

Week end sur Montpellier, je retiens le confort de la chambre, avec une salle d'eau spacieuse, et très silencieux. Situé à 50 mètre de la place de la comedie et du centre, et à côté du centre commercial Polygone.

Location is at the city centre, near to Saint Roche train station. It was good stay. Lot of restaurants near by.

Hotel with a great location, right next to the Polygone shopping center, but it needs an urgent update, furniture was old and stained, room floor was dirty, bed was uncomfortable. There are better options for a similar price in the Montpellier city center.

Decor was awful and rather tired, and area outside main entrance rather awkwardly on a paved slope and tucked away from view. Towels rather skimpy. However - hotel was very clean and well run, room was spacious and comfortable, staff were lovely, and central position in pedestrian area was excellent with station, trams, restaurants, museums and the Esplanade ( plane trees, fountains, bars and cafés) just a few minutes walk away. Plus the breakfast buffet was ample, fresh and good quality each morning. We enjoyed our stay in Montpellier.

Awesome location. No nonsense accommodation. Highly recommend. Parking was easy and walking distance to the square is even closer as it is accessible by elevator in the hotel.
