Everything was easy and quick, from check in to check out. The rooms are small, typical for an ibis. They have all the amenities and are clean. Not much room to store luggage. I would definitely stay there again. It’s close to the metro and yet in a very quiet neighborhood.

The Ibis in Montparnasse is in south of Paris, away from all the busy tourist areas. Easily access all landmarks by close by metro stations; easy to buy metro tickets at machine (buy extras as some rare stations may only have entry only with no ticket sales!). Great reataurants in area: sushi, Thai, Libyan, crêpes, etc. Great shopping close by too on major roads. Ibis has decent breakfast option, self serve buffet: fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, croissants, bread, sliced meats, cheese, juice, coffee, tea. I felt safe in hotel and area surrounding it. Very clean rooms and bathroom, very cozy bed and pillows. Hotel was perfect for somewhere to sleep within easy access to all sites of Paris. Very helpful staff, they printed my last minute purchased Louvre ticket. Tip: buy all tickets in advance to avoid line ups, especially the Catacombs, crazy line-up wait time!! (Aug/17)

For people flying in from the US, this hotel works great as the check in time is noon, so you can come right from the airport and drop your bags. The staff was great and our room had been recently renovated. Rooms are very small and, for me, would only work for a short stay. But the neighborhood is great and is close to Gare Montparnasse.

Check-in was easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Very small room, so if you have a large suitcase, you will have to put it on the bed to open it. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This was a nice small hotel that will suffice for a budget friendly trip to Paris where you will spend most of your time outside than in your hotel room. The rooms are small, but they do provide everything you need. The elevator is tiny, only two people with their luggage could really go up or down at any given moment, but that's not a big issue other than when you get there and when you leave. The day we got there we had 109 degree weather and the a/c was not strong enough or sufficient to cool our room, but that was the case everywhere in Paris not just there. The breakfast was really good and the eating area had a nice atmosphere. Helpful staff who spoke some English, their English was better than my French, we made it work and they were patient with us. We're very grateful! I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Great staff at the reception. Most cleaning ladies smile and say bonjour or if you do to them first they reciprocate; but one cleaning lady in particular had a scowl on her face, when I smiled at her and said bonjour she ignored me. I understand we all have personal and family issues in our lives, but at work we need to control our emotions and be amicable.
The shower drained so slowly that it would flood the floor if I didn’t turn it off to let it drain while showering!
I did not have these issues two years ago, that’s why I came back to the same hotel! I love the location, room cleanliness, restaurants around and it’s a really quiet and calm area :)

The room was too small i doubt it was a double one it had one kind bed but the room could hardly fit one person. The area is nice it has good restaurants yet at night so quiet so not really recommended if you want to go home walking from the station. Room was clean though

Checkin black lady with African accent in English was giving me a bit of altitude-just slightly. Quickly correcting us that we should not “called euros currency as dollars.” Could be a bit friendly especially when you have been traveling a long trip to get to Paris.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in mid Nov 2018. It was conveniently located, and had good facilities expected of a 3-star hotel. I wish, though, that the room had coffee making facility too!
