VLH Montparnasse Eiffel

The manager was EXCELLENT at helping us problem-solve a couple minor issues initially. He was kind, courteous, and VERY helpful! Would recommend this to others. We could see the glow of the Eiffel Tower around the corner of the street- walkable or trains to everything. Thank you for making our stay much more memorable!

Good property, near metro stations. Room was small as expected in Paris. Though i thought the sink was extra small..Not that was used much but felt even toothpaste was taking the whole of it. The hotel was clean, and staff is friendly. Overall good stay!

Good location with only a 5 minute walk to the Metro line. Had a Deluxe Double Room which was overall spacious. The shower was a good size but there was no counter space in the bathroom. The room had AC which was appreciated as there were some warm days. Room and common areas in the hotel were clean. We enjoyed the location which was not too far from the major sites but it is also not in a touristy area so we got to eat where the locals eat.

No air con on the first night when it was 30 degrees outside

The property did not have a working Air Conditioner during our entire 4 day stay. They said it was being repaired and it never worked and it was HOT.

The room was small but clean. I paid for two deluxe rooms and received a standard room. The air conditioning didn't work even one day. I asked for the air conditioning to be turned on, but they told me there was a system failure. At reception the air conditioning worked normally, but neither of the two rooms I paid for did the air conditioning work. The weather was hot, it was horrible sleeping there. The room does not have a minibar. They did not return part of the money paid for services they offered but did not fulfill the contract.

We had an AC issue. The staff was very gracious and receptive. They handled the matter very well. They did what it took to please us.

Kind and friendly staff. Close to the metro and many bus stops, but not overly congested with tourists. Many great restaurants nearby.

Excellent hotel location close to the metro and hotel has the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower which was great. The room we had was small but clean. Only gripe was there was no real welcome/orientation of the room/hotel e.g how the heaters worked, how to get hot drinking water, the fact that the phone in the room was not working - we had to work all for this out for ourselves. Apart from that, an excellent choice due to location.

Room was clean amd comfortable. Hotel is close to shops and public transport. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed there for two nights and three days great property and very well maintained. Friendly and bubbly staff

The owner/ front desk is very nice and amazing hospitality. He is also very helpful and kind. I will stay again in this place

The hotel is in a pretty nice area of Paris populated mainly by locals. Check-in went well. We went up to our room and immediately noticed our sink in our tiny bathroom (even by Paris standards) wasn't draining at all. Called the front desk and he himself came up to fix it with a little tool - and was very familiar with the issue, it seemed like it happened a lot. As soon as he left, my friend tried to take a shower and discovered the cover on the drain was closed and wouldn't open. We ended up prying it off and leaving it off for the rest of our trip. About 30 minutes after we got to our room, we heard VERY loud shouting from a man and woman from across the courtyard. It sounded like the man was hitting the woman and then she was screaming back at him. Soon their children also started crying. We called down to the front desk in concern for the woman and her children and were immediately told it wasn't a family staying at the hotel, but a local family that lives across the courtyard. Apparently it happens a lot. We heard the domestic fighting several times a day during our stay (whether our windows were opened or shut). People smoked a lot in the courtyard (both cigarettes and marijuana, which is illegal in France), so we couldn't ever have our window open and get fresh air. Essentially, the hotel staff was great. The hotel was ok. The environment of the neighbors and chain smoking at all hours was not. Neither myself nor my friend would recommend staying here.

A nice quaint hotel, rooms are quite nice and cozy, the bathrooms are small but quite usable. Great location with a nearby supermarket and not too far from the centre of Montparnasse as well as the Eiffel Tower

It was what I expected.

This place is unsafe and dangerous. Do not be a victim. Go to another hotel and save yourself. The staff manager is rude. The food sucks. The beds have bedbugs. We had to switch 3 rooms becuase there were leaks, dirty conditions and just something that runied our vacation.

No wi-fi l was uncommuniced.

Bath tub is very small and safety hazard. Hurt myself several times and could be fatal. Requested if they had any rooms with reasonable size shower area but was denied. Avoid booking in this hotel. Very disappointed.
