Ecolodge was not just eco friendly but also pretty cosy accommodation. I think they provide best quality and service among accommodations in Bukit Lawang. Staffs are attentive and quick response. We stayed new building in with connecting doors and charming loft space which my daughter liked it. Food was mainly Indonesian food selection but it was nice. As they provide eco friendly environment, there is no WIFI in rooms, only at restaurant. No hair dryer, no TV and no Mini Bar, no AC. But to enjoy nature, it did not matter for us. Hotel staff helped us to arrange Orang Utang tour, and we could find two Orang Utangs and a monkey, which was awesome experience! I recommend Ecolodge for those who want to find comfortable accommodation in Bukit Lawang.

It was the best place to spend quality time with family. The view, the wind, and all about Ecolodge is really amazing. Especially the Kapal Bambu Restaurant. Great to be there last week.

My room (Siamang) was looking rather old and there were many animal droppings on the floor and on the bed. The restaurant building, which was built from bamboos, is the only building that is modern and beautiful. The service was excellent though, the staffs were very polite and helpful.

Cozy stay in lodge name Oranghutan which accommodates bed with mosquito net and hot shower and fan. Staff was very kind and we also liked food and beverages served at restaurant! Highly recommended to stay here if you wanna explore jungle trekking in Bukit Lawang.

At night, when I sleep, I feel something walking on my feet, the next day I wake up, my feet have lots of insect bites, and the pillow smells bad

The room quality is okey. I was placed in the old building due to late order at peak week. the room quality could be better in my opinion. since the price is not that cheap for 2 star place to stay. hot water is not working. no AC. no wifi in room but available on the restaurant.
