I had a great time staying at Golden Tulip Essential Makassar. It was a spacious bed for twin and I like the decoration especially the bathroom, on top of that the hotel area is very strategic. Near from the main attraction which is Losari Beach (you can take a walk for around 7-10 mins only) and there is convenience store across the street as well with a lot of restaurants around. Overall it was a great value of money, but one thing needs to be improved is most of the staff were slow when it comes to guests request, they need to be reminded frequently to get your request done.

So far overall okay, only in the room amenities are only provided for 1 person. Even the amenities in the bathroom are minimal. A good hotel is not only from the receptionist but also from the service in the room by housekeeping.

I booked 2 bedrooms for 28 January, but I booked by accident and pressed the wrong button. I tried to explain to the reception, but there wasn't much they could do. I'm a bit disappointed because I wasted my money. I booked for 2 bedrooms by accident, and there wasn't anything helpful they could do.

Note: The smoking room, pay attention to the exhaust fan, is it reversed or does not suck out cigarette smoke, instead it stays in the room, try to pay attention, open the door to room 10, you will be reprimanded, this is the floor for the smoking room, the rest is good 👌

Last time I stayed here, I ordered a non-smoking room, but was given a smoking room, the room was dirty, like it had just been renovated but not cleaned properly. The food was not very tasty. For the price of around 650 thousand, the deluxe room should have had a 4.9 service. In fact, there are still many other hotels that are priced below that with better service and tastier food. Hopefully this criticism will be constructive criticism so that it can be better in the future. Thank you

I have stayed here 3 times, but the third time the impression was bad, first the blanket was dirty with vomit stains (after complaining, it was replaced) Second There were no towels available, after I took a shower there were no towels, after my wife asked for towels it took ± 45 minutes to be delivered. The sink was clogged, (when I complained the technician said after it was fixed: don't close the stopper again. We just arrived, it wasn't us who blocked it.:( the hairdryer didn't work aka broken. The other impressions were good. Hopefully it will be improved further

I chose Golden because it is close to my regular beauty clinic, the service is friendly, the hotel is super clean, the toilet walls and sheets are clean, Golden Tulip does have good rates in any city, but at this hotel the food is not very varied but it's delicious... the outdoor pool is very good for family time
