This is my first time to stay in Mustika Senen Hotel in Jakarta for my business trip.
This is a nice hotel, close to main road. Friendly hotel staffs, free flow hot drinks, near bus station and train station. Near traditional market, shops and Millenium Mall.
Very cheap hotel tariffs.

Close to Senen terminal. Taking Transjakarta bus is easy. Around the hotel there are also many food stalls and it's quite delicious. My child also sleeps soundly.

It's quite worth it, the strategic location is close, even though the building is like an old hotel, the service is good, you can check in early, the breakfast is quite complete, the cleanliness of the room is taken care of and the staff is friendly.

Thank God, for the cheap price, there is a pretty good breakfast with lots of choices, and for snacks and coffee, tea, ginger is always available until the evening as long as it doesn't run out in the morning. Service is friendly and very polite. Disadvantages: the receptionist was not careful in checking, at that time I ordered via trefeloka and was told to have it ready at 17:00, until the hotel at 19:00 the room was not ready and the message data was lost (I didn't read it carefully) so I didn't want to have to wait tired. . But overall OK.

The app takes too much profit, I stayed and paid a room price of Rp. 400,000 in the application but it turned out that the real price for renting a room was only Rp. 275,000 at the hotel, as a result I became a victim of Traveloka by getting a very bad room, towels like used shoes, dirty floors, a TV that didn't work, etc.

The location is very strategic. I can walk from the station ps. Senen. The bedroom and bathroom are large. Quite clean. The dim atmosphere is suitable for sleeping. But I was surprised that the mattress was really hard according to the review. It was uncomfortable. The food was okay. There was no hot water.

Customer service is friendly and nice. Breakfast is also nice. The downside is that the room that I got reeks cigarettes and the shower handles got electricity static as soon as I turn the shower on. But overall it 's still nice.

If you are looking for lodging around Senen with quite affordable prices, this could be an option. In terms of location, this is a typical old hotel, but in terms of cleanliness, it's quite okay. The floor is clean (still using marble) the bathroom is also okay. The bed is also quite clean. I'm not too fussy, the important thing is that it's not too dirty and doesn't smell. Buffet breakfast, quite complete, there is an appetizer menu, main menu and desert and various drinks. Simple but delicious. What I salute is the service is really good. I ordered gofood and asked for it to be sent to the lobby, without being told I was sent to the room by the waiter, even though I wanted to take it myself. On the last day I didn't take breakfast, the waitress came to ask if I had had breakfast or not. I asked for several requests also fulfilled. Nice.
