ibis Styles Bandung Grand Central

I stayed in room 1001 during Easter holiday yesterday, the bathroom smelled like sewer gas/septic tank. Even my 4 year old child could say the bathroom smelled. The sink drain was also leaking. Probably from the drain. The dirty clothes that I put in the cabinet under the sink got wet. And it turned out that from the drain, it flowed into the cabinet until it overflowed onto the floor 😣 even though the bar table was placed in the bathroom with a sliding door design from the side of the bed. So the refrigerator and bar table are accessed by sliding the door to the bathroom. Actually unique and seems spacious, uniting the bedroom and bathroom areas without a partition. But because the bathroom is like that, it becomes dirty. On the sliding door there is a lot of dirt like crumbs that when slid the crumbs scattered on the floor. Regarding the smell, I have conveyed it to the receptionist (at that time a man), his response was normal as if he didn't know. And the dirt on the sliding door was cleaned when I went out (but not clean, still leaving dirt residue on the floor) ☹️. Oh yeah, when we first checked in and then entered the room, the room was sprayed with very strong fragrances that stuck in our nose and throat and made us dizzy. My husband and I were surprised why they used such strong fragrances. After the afternoon we realized, maybe it was to cover up the smell from the bathroom. It's a shame, a new hotel in a strategic area, unique design but makes you uncomfortable. Hopefully it will be taken seriously and improvements will be made. Greetings. no maintenance and room quality service huh? have stayed here several times. last in Q4 2024. it has deteriorated a lot. large bathroom space, but the door cannot be closed. and the bedroom becomes narrower.. besides that the bathroom door has come off its rail. hard to pull..and cannot be closed.. can you imagine being in the middle of p**p but there are many big gaps ???? see in the photo. the shower area is also broken. the shower can't hang perfectly. there are no shelves for customers to put their own toiletries.. not all can be compatible with hotel shampoo soap, right? I think the 900 thousand paid is not a fair price to get a room with this quality. the arrangement of the bed is also surprising. like a roadside motel room. no aesthetic considerations. even though that's important.. because staying at a hotel is also to boost your mood by seeing something nice and pleasing to the eye. and the main door, the door lock is also removed.. OMG.. how do you want to save money?? to the point of lowering the quality of the room like this??? if so, lower the price too!

the hotel location is right next to Gasibu Field..across from Gedung Sate. Close to the night culinary area near the Telkom building. Strategic. The car park is integrated with the Pullman car park. Ibis lift choose the one specifically for Ibis so that it doesn't connect...because the Pullman lift from the parking lot is also there.

First time staying here, the hotel is in the middle of the city and close to Gedung Sate and Gasibu field for running. The staff is friendly and the food has many variations. The room has a city light view.

Overall good. It's just that there are no sports facilities like pool, gym.

The staffs were very helpful. We stay there for 2 nights and got room with good city view and mountain view and also with sofabed which accordingly not each room has it, so better be careful with the room you ordered since pictures provided from the apps are not always the same as what you ordered. What we like the most the shower there was running well both hot and cold water. Thank you Ibis Styles Bandung for your good hospitality ^^
