Mercure Garut City Center

First check in took a long time, the staff waited for each other to confirm, after waiting to enter the smoking room, it smelled of cigarettes, confirmed again downstairs to change rooms, even though there was a statement that we were bringing 2 children. On the day before, we called the admin for a long time but no one answered, until finally someone answered, we ordered and (bought) a cake, until the evening no one delivered it to the room, finally we went to the hotel cafe, it was delivered to the room, unfortunately the plates used were dirty, maybe leftover food, or had not been wiped, from the room I tried calling 0 (operator) but no one answered. For parking, there was someone to help us by the security guard, when we left the hotel it turned out that the car plate had not been registered by the office. Overall, there are many things that need to be fixed, especially by the hotel superiors who have to see and check directly, maybe because it is crowded during holidays, but the hotel's professionalism must still be maintained, because people come during holidays, hopefully it can be an input for the future. It so happens that we stayed at a hotel in the Garut area that is not new, it has been around for a long time so we can provide conclusions and comparisons with other hotels.

The hotel's location is very strategic with other supporting external facilities that make your stay more enjoyable.

Overall, I was only satisfied with breakfast, the variety of food and the taste of the food was lacking.

The hotel is new so it is still fresh and easy to access everywhere because it is located in the city center.

The hot water swimming pool is nice.

Late check-in time because the room was not ready to be cleaned up, could only enter at 15:00, and connecting door requests can rarely be fulfilled if ordered by app. The others are overall good.

The hotel staff is very friendly, responsive, good-looking. So want to stay again.

Yesterday I just came from ga*a bandung and mercure grt. I think the food is better at mercure garut. The room is clean and spacious than sant*ka garut which is narrow. Below the mall, everything you need is close. Stayed there during Eid, there is also chicken opor 😭😂❤️🙏🏻

The hotel is adjacent to the Cipaganti Garut mall so it is very easy to buy necessities/needs such as food and others. Breakfast is served with a mountain view, the taste of the food is also according to other Mercure standards. The only minus is the minimal parking because it is combined with the mall but Alhamdulillah it is helped by valet parking.

Parking facilities are inadequate because it is combined with the Ciplaz Mall. My suggestion for the future is to improve the Valley system for every guest who comes to make it easier and avoid car congestion. The parking payment system is sometimes subject to a fee because the auto gate system in the mall is often unstaffed. So far, the rooms are comfortable.

The extra bed was out of stock, so I had to buy a folding mattress. The restaurant was very full because it was Eid holiday.

The location is very strategic next to Garut City Plaza, so if you want anything, it's easy to find and if you're hungry in the middle of the night, there are lots of vendors around the outside of the hotel. Because it's still new, the building is clean and nice, the rooms are quite spacious and the amenities are also complete.

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room, the best mattress & linen. Unfortunately, maybe it's high season, the service during breakfast is not optimal. Many food stalls are late in refilling.

Later please update the rooms that are worth buying, actually I want a room that is comfortable for children or has a bathtub, yesterday the choices were either not available or out of stock.. But it's okay, they are all very good 💯

Very good location right next to the mall. But a bit congested. The room is clean and comfortable.

Overall it was enough, it was just that waiting for the room was quite long, about 1 hour, and the FO staff initially asked me to enter my car license plate number and I had written it on the form, but the FO staff seemed to forget to enter my car license plate number to register for free parking. As a result, the next day when I went out, I had to pay for parking. Please improve it in the future.
