close access to Jl. Malioboro, Malioboro Mall, Malioboro Terrace, close to Tugu Station, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, minus the limited bathroom, and curtains for the bed that do not cover the guest at all when sleeping.

The room rates go up quite high during high season, and there is no private car parking, so you have to park at Malioboro Mall or on the side of Mataram road.

Last long weekend (14-16 Sept) I booked a room at Ndalem Kampoeng twin bed private room for 2 people. For some reason on 13 Sept Traveloka informed me that the room I booked was overbooked and I was asked to relocate to a Pavilion type room (which is not available on the OTT platform) or get a refund. Since the date was tight and it was difficult to find other accommodation, I decided to relocate to the recommended type. Indeed, the Pavilion type has quite a spacious room (there is a kitchen & private toilet as well as 2 empty rooms with tables, chairs & clothes storage). Unfortunately, there are several things that I highlighted during my stay here. When I entered, the room felt less clean, such as the dusty floor, there were several dried gecko droppings in several spots, then the smell of the room felt musty and stuffy (including the mattress). The bathroom has no door, but uses a curtain. The mat provided also looks dirty. Not only that, the fan, especially the air cooler, did not function optimally (it was safe at night because it was cool, but starting in the morning at 7 am it felt very hot). Oh yes, the environment around the inn is close to residents' houses and the entrance is through a small alley that slopes down. That way, it is difficult to find a parking space for cars, while parking for two-wheeled vehicles is available near the inn. The plus point is, access from the inn to Malioboro is very close (400 meters on foot) and close to places to eat & Indomaret. The staff on duty are also friendly and informative. Overall, hopefully in the future the maintenance of facilities and cleanliness can be improved even better. 🙌🏻

Really hidden gem near Malioboro, nice comfortable place, clean, very friendly top service. At first I was a little hesitant because it was in a small alley, but I knew it was a good place. Just minus the parking if you bring a car, because the location is in a narrow alley.

Ndalem Kampoeng, a hidden gem at Malioboro. The entrance to the inn really makes you unsure, it's narrow and goes deep into an alley, it turns out the place has a homely feeling. The staff is responsive and provides solutions to our complaints. Just an input, maybe all rooms could be equipped with AC, because without AC it is impossible for the guest to be comfortable, especially when the air outside is really hot. All rooms are clean, the water is running smoothly, the employees are friendly, there is a free kitchen for drinking tea/coffee, there is a prayer room available, it feels like at home.

A very homey homestay, comfortable, clean, smells good and the service is champion. Thank you very much to Mas Rizki who is super nice, when checking out it was raining heavily, Rizki was quick to help get to his vehicle. Insya Allah will come back again to stay there 😇.

Admin is not professional, HP cannot be contacted, parking is difficult on Sunday nights, but the receptionist is very friendly and the property is cool, the interior design is the best, the facilities are great.

Damn, this is a really good hidden gem. Entering a small alley, it looks ordinary, but the inside is very cozy. You really won't be bored if you stay for days. The front is the same as the Malioboro 2 terrace, the side is the same as the Malioboro alley. It won't be hard to find food, souvenirs, coffee shops. This is already cheap! Clean! Calm! There's no lack of it. Highly recommended for travelers. Serious.

Bersih nyaman bagus, deket kemana-mana walaupun kaget di dalem kampung beneran tapi worth to stay!

The place is nice even though it's in an alley. Only for narrow motorcycle parking + room cleanliness still needs to be improved. Because when I stayed there were mosquitoes.

Walaupun masuk ke gang, tapi tidak jauh dari jalan raya dan Malioboro, tempat bersih, nyaman.

Complete facilities, there is a coffee room too, the bed is neat, suitable for those for budget travel, really recommend.

It is really worth staying here, what is imagined according to how well, friendly service (thanks, mbaa sandals), very comfortable place, if you go to Jogja later again.
