I had the most pleasant stay in Pawon Cokelat Guesthouse! the staff are really nice and helpful! located across the Jogjakarta station, We arrived at 4:30 in the morning and luckily since there’s still room available they allowed us to check in early. I love the breakfast, room is really clean, AC super cool (i love it) and water heater is running perfect! They also provide parking spot up to 5 motorcycles. thank you Pawon Cokelat! will absolutely comeback again!

the place was cozy and nice. it's also near the train station. you just need to walk for 5 minutes through the small alley. and if you want to go to malioboro you just go straight through the same alley for 5 minutes and reach sosrowijayan where you could find Gudeg Mbok Lindu or another street food. the room was smaller and clean but sometime theres small ants if you leave something on the table

not friendly for those who have rented motorbikes because they have to push the motorbike quite far to get out of the hotel because the location is in a small alley. because the morning train so there is no breakfast, when checking in it has been confirmed and will be replaced with bread, but it turns out that when checking out in the morning there is no bread provided. the bed makes noise, the AC is not cold enough. no smart TV yet, can only be used to watch local TV. the bathroom is quite clean.

Very satisfied staying here because it is very clean, fragrant, the sheets & towels are fragrant + clean, hopefully the cleanliness is maintained, the staff is friendly, the price is cheap 🫶🏻 then the goods are already at the station. Pass through the front or back of the Malioboro road. But for those who bring cars it is a bit difficult because this place is in a small alley, motorbikes also have to get off ✌🏻

For a guest house with this price, surprisingly the room is comfortable, clean (although the facilities are not as complete as a hotel). Breakfast only has fried rice, but even then the taste and portion are just right, not too much & not too little. The location is in a small alley, but if you walk from/to the station and Malioboro it is very close. Conclusion: highly recommended for those looking for cheap accommodation around Malioboro.

The atmosphere near the guesthouse is beautiful and calm, not like in the middle of the city, close to Tugu station, the rooms are also clean and fragrant, there are no minus points, the fried rice for breakfast is also delicious, the staff are also friendly.

I absolutely love this guesthouse! The interior is stunning, staff are friendly, and rooms are cozy and clean. Strategically located near the train station and Malioboro, with a short walk from the main road. Pros: 1. Beautiful interior design 2. Warm hospitality 3. Comfortable and clean rooms 4. Convenient location 5. Delicious breakfast (nasi goreng, though portion is small) 6. Outdoor seating area for relaxation & smoking Cons: 1. Limited parking (no motorbike access) Highly recommended!

the downside is there is no drinking water in the room .. there are no clothes hangers .. for breakfast I get the same menu every day (fried rice) .. the service and staff are friendly .. the room is clean, fragrant and comfortable .. what makes it good is the strategic location close to everywhere ..

The location is okay, close to the station & Malioboro. Before check-in time, you can leave your stuff and it's safe. The room & toilet are still okay. The fried rice breakfast is delicious. Maybe next time, a gallon dispenser can be prepared in the waiting room to refill water/request hot water. The female staff are very friendly, but the male staff are a bit rude, maybe because they can't make small talk😅
