The room was spacious, clean, huge bathroom with bath tub. Very comfy bed, with great bedding. But... My room was so far away from lobby, it is not just far, but really far away.. it was underground with no view, and the color chosen for interior was too dark, so it have a gloomy ambience.. The hotel is not exactly beachfront, we have to go across the road to reach the beach. They have a beach club with beachfront pool there. If you want a more luxurious stay, you should stay at the poolside room, they have direct access to the pool. They have 2 pool, one is really big at the center of the hotel, circling the poolside room, and smaller one at the beach club across the hotel room

This hotel have a good ambience. Perfect for honeymoon or even bring your family together. Sakala also have great breakfast. There's a lot of variant style for breakfast and of course with a good taste.

The hotel and facilities are good. It's just that the beach is too crowded with boats for water sports activities, and you have to cross the road to get to the road, so the hotel is not directly on the beach.

Many corners of the bathroom are dirty. Cleaning is not detailed. The coffee machine on the 1st floor is broken. Very unpleasant breakfast. Too many people. Become one with hotel guests. Even though in the advertisement, the villa gets separate breakfast. The types of food are very less varied. And the food available is very ordinary.

We appreciate that you brought to our attention the broken coffee machine; it was not dispensing enough water and needed to be serviced. Regarding breakfast, this is a very high occupancy period, so we encourage guests to consider the traffic flow signs that we have displayed in several areas of the hotel, so that guests know when the quieter times are and can enjoy breakfast more leisurely. Regarding the food variety, please let us know what items you would like to see… as we have a very large selection of Indonesian and Western dishes, and we are constantly adding more items based on constructive feedback from our guests. Thanks for your review. The beach club changing rooms are rarely used because our guests usually prefer to change in their own rooms...but we will certainly look if any improvement is required. We thank you for your positive feedback about our suites with kitchenette, spacious and super clean.

The first and second day the soap was not refilled and the dust was thick, suddenly the block under the shower fell, the AC couldn't be adjusted as needed, the technician left a screwdriver on the bed, plates and cutlery were not provided... Breakfast is ok, lots of variants.

Staying with kids, so added an extra bed which turned out to be a sofa bed as big as a queen size bed. Nice. There is a mini kitchen and you can borrow cooking utensils from the hotel. The rooms are spacious, complete with amenities, there is an iron. Unfortunately, you can't adjust the AC temperature because it is programmed in the system.

My Kiddos (5y. O) never forget the experience of the kids activities which have spacious room and importantly Miss Ari always accompany her for the kids activities. During Check in, Mr. Evan cater our family to the room giving brief information … what a nice welcoming. The Hotel provide shuttle to the shamu beach (10minutes distance) because in front of hotel there is beach not for kids activities like seminyak. There is bose sound system which can be connect into 3.5 mm jack (ask enginerring) Definitely will come back for holiday.

As a matter of fact, we are a resort very children-friendly, not only because of our spacious rooms and facilities like the Kids Club...but also because of the friendliness of our staff. In particular Ari, leader of the Kids Club has regularly amazing reviews. Same like Evan from our Front Office team who provides the best welcomes. Our beach is more suitable for watersports, but for that reason we have the privilege of a secondary swimmable beach at Samuh serviced by our scheduled free shuttle. Indeed we are one of the few hotels with a in-room proper sound system that can be directly connected into a audio jack or you can use one of the connectors available in our lobby for newer devices without jack. We look forward to see you back on your next holiday!!

The first time staying at The Sakala was actually very pleasant. It's just that when checking out the req trolley at 11 am didn't come immediately, called 2x and said it was a waiting list, even though it was seen from the room balcony that the empty trolley was on standby in front of the lobby. Finally, I lifted my own suitcase from the elevator and went up the stairs because I was in a hurry to get to the airport. The check-in process was quite unpleasant, because I was given a twin bed, they said when I booked from Traveloka they didn't req a king bed. After I checked on the app, it turned out there was a req king bed. Eh, the officer said back - well, according to what the lady req so we checked the availability first - as a result, we waited 1.5 hours for check-in in the lobby and when we entered the room, it turned out there were still twin beds that were combined into one, for the middle bed the mattress was not perfectly flat and uncomfortable for small children 🤯 and one more thing, the req ashtray also took a very long time... until I walked alone to find the make up room officer to ask for an ashtray. For the rest, overall it was okay, no problems. There are plans to stay at Sakala again, hopefully it will be better than yesterday.

Suasana asri, tenang, nyaman, sesuai harapan untuk sebuah resort bagi kami yang sedang mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan sambil short getaway. Para staf sangat ramah dan menjawab kebutuhan dengan tanggap, variasi dan cita rasa makanan saat breakfast di restoran sesuai harapan (lebih baik lagi jika jam sarapan lebih awal (jam 6) agar lebih fleksibel bagi pengunjung yang kegiatannya diawali di pagi hari sesuai jam kerja). Kolam renang menyenangkan dengan staf-staf yang penuh perhatian. Kamar nyaman, jaringan internet mantap, dan kebersihan terpelihara. Fasilitas pendukung bagi yang membutuhkan tersedia (ada gym, ada private beach, beach club, sepeda, kegiatan-kegiatan menarik juga ditawarkan dengan informasi yang jelas).

Swimming pool is big and very good. But the beach is not OK, we couldn't play at the beach and should use shuttle.

The stretch of sand on the beach in front of the hotel is cleaned every day by our staff but is more geared towards watersport activities. For that reason we have a second private beach venue just a few minutes away serviced by our free shuttle for those who want to swim. Hope to see you back again!

I recently stayed at The Sakala Resort and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel boasts a commendable design that exudes a modern and welcoming ambiance. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, with their attentiveness and willingness to assist making my stay all the more enjoyable. Furthermore, the rooms were impeccably clean, contributing to a comfortable and accommodating stay. While there were certainly many positives about my experience, one aspect that could be improved upon is the availability of TVs in all rooms. It was disappointing to find that not all rooms were equipped with this amenity, which may be an inconvenience for guests who expect this standard feature during their stay. Also, we booked the pool access suite rooms but they only allowed guests to use the pool until 7pm due to maintenance. This was a bit dissappointing. Some of the lights are off and they couldn't fixed it. One of the room has broken sliding door access to the bathroom. But overall with the help of their Duty Manager, Pak Edy, we were able to experience a memorable stay at this Resort. We'll be back again 😊.

Nusa Dua is an area that wants a vacation with a calm atmosphere, the hotel staff is very helpful and friendly, but for swimming at the beach I suggest going to Bali Collection with a shuttle bus, the beach is cleaner, because the front of the hotel is used for watersports, maybe the sea water is not so good for swimming. The hotel is clean, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

Regarding the beach in front of the hotel, it is true that the Tanjung Benoa area has historically been used more for watersport activities, and this can affect the water conditions for swimming. However, for a better ocean swimming experience, we offer an alternative with our second beach venue in Samuh, which can be accessed by our free shuttle bus service. There, swimming in the sea is not only more comfortable, but you can also enjoy the available bar, sunlounges and shower facilities.
