I loved seeing the ruins of the Abbey just outside the hotel, and it's a very short walk to the town where you can find some great old pubs and restaurants.

The window facing the road would not shut as the locking mechanism was broken, which resulted in hearing all the noise from the busy road as well as letting a draft in.
Went to have a shower in the evenings/mornings and the 'hot' water was was barely warm.
The room was clean but felt very tired and needed an update.

A nice hotel but looking tired, especially the rooms. Advertise room service after 10pm but non available. Very expensive for what it is, but anything nearer Dublin you need a small mortgage.

Very disappointing stay. Definitely not a 4 star. Food would have been better in a chipper take away. It was noisy. Such a lot of space to eat in yet we were placed crowed together in the middle of two families. Room was 2 star. Hot and noisy due to air conditioning fans outside yet we had none in our room! Tv was miniature so no wet both beds in the term room could see it. Not good enough in so many areas to meet a 4 star. Will not be returning.

Definitely not a four star Hotel!! We had to be moved from the room we booked as there was an unpleasant smell in it and the carpet had a lot of stains and black marks on it.The menu is selective and overpriced the staff very friendly and accommodating
