We were warmly welcomed on check in and, at every step of the way, we were made to feel special! The bar tender, Shawn, made some delicious cocktails. The Giotto restaurant on site serves excellent food and has a very good selection of wines. We used the very well appointed spa for added luxury! The room had a large balcony with an amazing view of the Umbrian landscape, and, at night, the Basilica was lit up like a beacon. The only downside was the air conditioning in the rooms is not allowed be turned on until June- but, keeping the doors open at night cooled the room down and was very comfortable. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

I did not like they the WiFi was not functioning. The room was too hot … even with the window open to try to get in cooler air from outside.

I would suggest for 4 star hotel I was surprised that no one assisted with our bags to be honest my Mum is Elderly woman and if other customers are around that staff would assist. Also i know was cool outside but was quite warm in the hotel to point was quite hot at night even though turned off the temp and opened window

Hotel needs a refresh.
Indoor pool on a property this beautiful is a shame as who wants to be inside when the sun is shining?
Also, charging 3,50€ for towels and a shower cap is what your expect from a lower class resort.

The views are amazing, the rooms are great, the restaurant has a great view. The hotel is beautiful and close to the walkable area of assisi. I enjoyed the walk to the entrance of the old city but for the return I was too tired to walk. So I took a 5 min cab.

Our room was very comfortable and we had a good night sleep. The restaurant was a little different. It was like a cafeteria, bright lighting and a little sterile.
The food was similar to buffet style. It was okay.
We like good food so we can be a little more subjective

Great hotel at the gates of Assisi with easy parking (beware of tight parking spots, rent a Fiat!) Beautiful terrace on top floor for sunset watching. Assisi 10 min bus ride away, bus leaves from right outside the hotel every 40nin. Loved it!

A beautiful facility, with friendly staff. A bit outside Assisi, in a beautiful wooded area. I walked or took the bus to get into the city proper. Lavish breakfast included with the room. Beautiful indoor heated pool. Highly recommended!
