Just PERFECT

Really enjoyed our stay. Front desk was very helpful. Morning breakfast/buffet was awesome -- and very attentive! Easy access to check in and coming in after hours. Thought the location was perfect. Will come back!!

Close to everything, laundromat, eateries, market

Very close to train station. Out of train station go right towards Il Gigante. Little store next to it to buy tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, crackers, salami olives, wine etc. our room was big with 2 balconies. Park across street and ocean. Great breakfast. Breakfast staff was very friendly. Good find if you want to stay in Monterosso.

We were told that Italian law prevents them from turning on the a/c system. We had to open the balcony doors. While I understand and accept the concept of bringing in outside air, noise and lights kept us up all night. And there was no cross ventilation in the room to bring in outside air. We asked for a fan which helped with the temperature. But it was still bright and noisy at night.

A wonderful hotel 4 minutes walk from the train station. We had a room with 2 balconies overlooking the water. Staff was curious and very helpful.

Staff were super friendly, especially Elaina at the front desk!! The 2 breakfast ladies were really nice as well.

The place is convenient to everything. From train station to access to the beach is really great. The staff were super nice and helpful.We’ll come back and book again for sure.

The young women who prepared morning coffee and breakfast were wonderful. The deck was great, very relaxing. The shower doors didn’t close properly so water would flood bathroom, making exit to shower hazardous. The bathroom was so small we had to sit on toilet sideways. We did love the quaint features, pillows and bed were wonderful!

I recently stayed at this hotel in Italy, and it was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The property is nothing like the images shown online – they completely lied about everything. First, the room was tiny and dirty, with a broken bed that caved in the middle, making it impossible to sleep. The bathroom was even worse, featuring a portable shower that looked like it was hastily installed in a closet. The entire place was in disrepair and felt more like a low-budget hostel than the charming hotel they advertised. The “ocean view” they claimed? Completely obstructed, nothing like the images I saw during booking. I even chatted with the hotel beforehand to confirm that the room I booked was the one advertised, and they assured me it was. That was a blatant lie. The worst part? The noise outside was unbearable. We couldn’t sleep at all with constant loud disturbances throughout the night. I was so frustrated that we left after one night, but when I asked for a refund, the front desk staff had the audacity to say, “In life, sometimes we don’t get what we want.” I was in disbelief. This level of rudeness and disregard for guests is unacceptable. I demand a refund, but based on my experience, I’m not holding my breath. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. It’s a scam.

Villa Degli Argentieri was clean, and the staff were so very helpful and accommodating ! We travelled to Monterosso at the beginning of October, so it wasn't too busy, but the images in the advertisement were slightly misleading. We spent the extra money on an ocean view, and patio, but the room was far smaller than advertised. The views shown in the picture were not what you saw from our room and we were disappointed with the cost of our stay. The restaurants and calm energy of Monterosso were just steps away and the water was lovely ! Bring Water shoes :)

Everyone we encountered, front desk/breakfast - were lovely. Could not do enough for us wonderful cappuccino and location. Short walk from train & "old Town".

Giuseppe was the most excellent host. He greeted us immediately upon entering the property and gave us a walking tour and historical background of this gorgeous and authentic property. Views of the countryside from the rooms and grounds are breathtaking. This casa has wine/ bar service, a gorgeous pool overlooking the countryside and beautifully landscaped grounds. It is breathtaking - all we hoped for, and more, in the Tuscan countryside . Such a welcome transition from the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence. HIGHLY Recommend !!!

The location is fantastic, a flat walk from the train station. Our balcony was a delightful addition as we enjoyed the views. Our only complaint was that breakfast didn't start until 8:30, which for us was too late as we love beating the crowds, so we often had breakfast at the cafe next door. There is a small grocery store close by as well. The hotel has a nice charm to it, nothing fancy but welcoming. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to others.

The bathroom is very small and the shower is very small. The pictures make it appear that it is their beach in front of the hotel, but you have to pay at the beach to sit at the chairs/umbrellas. Overall though nice hotel easy to get to from the train. It is located in the new town of Monterosso.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. There is a car park just across the street that you can leave your car in for as many days as you need without having to move it or pay each day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was efficient and our room was superb. We reserved a double room with a balcony, so it was a lovely way to spend the late afternoon with a glass of wine and good book after spending the day at the beach and before dinner. The beach is just a short 2 min walk and the old town is a 10 min stroll.
