We stayed in the family suite. The design was well thought out and the beds were comfortable. The location was across the street from a 7 Eleven which was super convenient. There is a ramen place next door. It is a close walk to the bus station and you can walk from the hotel into town. Overall it was a really pleasant stay for a family of 5.

We had an amazing stay at Fav Hidatakayama during our recent trip! 🌟
What stood out the most was the spaciousness of the room, which made it perfect for our family. The cleanliness was impeccable, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of a small kitchen. It allowed us to prepare quick meals and added so much convenience to our stay.
The bunk beds were a huge hit with the kids—they absolutely loved them! It made the room feel cozy yet fun, and it was a unique touch that set this hotel apart.
Overall, the combination of excellent amenities, a family-friendly setup, and a clean, comfortable space made our stay truly memorable. We would highly recommend Fav Hidatakayama to anyone traveling with family!

The hotel is comfortable, clean and close the station. 10 minute walk to the town.
Our room was spacious and had a safe, microwave, hob, fridge-freezer and a washing machine. There was a separate toilet, and wet room.
There is a 7 11 across the road. The hotel has a public onsen that good.

Everything perfect. We can go the nearest supermarket to buy some fresh veg and meat to cook in the hotel, very convenient. This is the 3rd time we stayed in this hotel. Walkable to the morning market and heritage street. Walkable Cheap parking nearby for only 300yen from 1800pm to 1000am. Thank you so much for this fabulous stay and will stay again next time.

As a family, we absolutely loved our stay at Fav Hotel. Our room was so cosy and comfortable with excellent design features. The staff were so friendly and helpful when we checked in. Fav Hotel was also so close to everything. We could walk everywhere, including the township, great restaurants, local sites and the bus terminal.

Great hotel and set up. Easy check in and wonderful room amenities. We had wonderful sleeping accommodations for our family of 6. Plenty of space, the configuration of the water closet separate from the large bath/laundry was really helpful as well as the additional sink in the kitchenette. Incredible attention to details and comforts for extended travelers such as ample hangers as well as multiple types, great drying rack (2 types) and even supplies such as detergent and dish soap were provided! The linens were top quality and super comfortable and clean/modern.
Thank you for a great stay along the way during 2 weeks in Japan. This was a highlight for sure.

Very nice furnishings and there was ample space for my family of 4 adults and 1 toddler. There is a local convenience store nearby as well as good dining options.
