Incredible venue for a relaxing time. The private onsen was relaxing and the room itself was amazing with plenty of space to find peace and quiet.
The kaiseki and breakfast was delicious and the private dining rooms felt intimate and personal.

The property is in such an excellent condition. Conveniently located as well, as it is a short walk to Lawson, and also to Lake Kawaguchiko. There are some restaurants around and within walking distance too. Each room comes with it's own onsen, and so convenient. The only downside is the lack of view from the rooms. But the service is impeccable.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at. The design and functionality was unwatched. We had a personal onsen that was better than pictured and the closet and entryway provided lots of storage to keep our suitcases out of sight. I cannot reccomend this place enough. The traditional Japanese breakfast was incredible and beautifully presented. Place is within walking distance of many restaurants and Lake Kawaguchi. If you stay, check out our favorite restaurant from our trip in Japan - Tanpopo!

This property is an extremely over priced tourist trap at mt Fuji. Do yourself a favor stay elsewhere and if you want an onsen experience go to onsen Yurari in mt Fuji for the day.

It's was a treat to stay in a traditional Ryokan-difficult to tell if this is really traditional or not. The onsen was nice, the futon beds were small and uncomfortable, the food looked spectacular but was pretty disappointing, very expensive dinner especially as there are so many nice places for a lot less near by. Breakfast was includde and again looked great but wasn't for us, so we cancelled 2 out of 3 days. Ideally located to explore the area with great views of Fuji about a 2 min walk away

If you like Japanese cuisine this place has an excellent breakfast and you must have the Japanese dinner at least one night during stay, so delicious. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Such a quaint cozy hotel and a lovely Japanese touch to everything.

We LOVED everything about our stay ...the property is superb and the staff outstanding. Special shout out to Murasawa San who went far above every expectation to not only make our stay spectacular but also with arrangements for local tours and sight seeing. Food was incredible. Our driver from the station also outstanding! Thanks for a great stay ...we'll be back again. The best stay ever!

This is such a beautiful ryokan, located very close to Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. We stayed in the new wing, with private onsen bath, and our room was newly renovated and spotless. We booked late so we did not have dinner there, but the breakfast was spectacular!

Our stay here was incredible. Loved the private Onsen. Furthermore, the staff was very attentive, welcoming, and helpful. Lastly, the dinner provided was the best multi course meal I've had to date. Much better than what I had received in California by the time of this review being written.
