Shinjuku Granbell Hotel

All good and comfy. It's just the distance from hotel to train station a bit too far.

This hotel is recommended for travelers because the price is competitive and the location is near Metro station.

The service is very excellent, Hotel near to stations and mini market.

The room is clean with comfortable bed. It is 2 minutes away from nearest train station and plenty of food choices nearby.

Very good. The hotel is clean, new and has complete equipment. Surrounded by restaurants and a Minimart, close to the entertainment areas of Golden Gai and Kabuki Chou, anyone who likes nightlife will like this. But it's very far from Shinjuku Station. Walked around dragging my bags for about 20 minutes. The weather was cold and I was still sweating 😅

The room looked exactly same as the picture and it's clean. Soon will go to the hotel again.

Hotel is relatively new, clean, easy to travel as it is near Shinjuku train station. Walking up from the train station, can follow the way on google map, can tell you a little, it's at the hotel The staff of the hotel were hospitable. Beaming The location is close to shopping, restaurants, very convenient.

The hotel is near to Higashi Shinjuku Station but not Shinjuku Station itself. Room is small but clean & comfortable. Satisfying stay.

Strategic location and pretty good breakfast.

The rooms are very small, maybe it's that much in the Shinjuku area, but the cleanliness is still clean. This is a 3-star hotel.

The room was painfully small. Was clean and easy to get to. Just nice only if you have 2 pax and small luggages.

We stayed at the Economy Double for about 7 days during our last trip to Tokyo and I can say that it was a very pleasant experience. Room is pretty small but good enough for us, because that is what’s expected from an Economy Room in the middle of the city. The room is big enough for couple, so if you got a little kid travelling with you, I suggest you order a bigger room. You got the usual stuffs of course; some tea, coffee, water boiler, safe box and an empty fridge. Yes, they do not have a mini bar, but I’m totally fine with it. You also got two bottles of water each day, if you feel that’s not enough, you can always ask for some more at the cart or you can get one from the vending machine room downstairs. Their amenities can be considered pretty good. You got 2 set of toothbrush, shaver completed with the cream, you also got hair comb, body towels (to rub your back while taking shower), cotton buds, facial cottons and a hair tie! They did not give you a shower cap though. Another thing that I like is that they packed the shampoo, conditioner and body soap in a big bottle instead of tiny ones like most hotels do. I can’t say much about their breakfast/restaurants/bars because we didn’t go for it but staffs here can speak good English and that alone is already a plus. This hotel is also pretty friendly for those in wheelchairs and there’s braille on the elevator too. Another thing that I would like to give note of is the location of the hotel; which is very strategic place in my opinion. While the address does say it is located at the Kabukicho, it is actually not inside of the Kabukicho main district but rather a bit out, so there is no need to worry about noise or crowds, etc. It’s very close to the Higashi-Shinjuku Station (Oedo/Fukutoshin line) that can take you to Shibuya, Harajuku, Ueno, Asakusa etc. However, if you own a JR Pass it is best that you go to the Shinjuku Sanchome Station which is around 15 mins walk from the hotel. It is very close to the Kabukicho Main District, Robot Restaurant, Shinjuku Golden Gai, the famous Godzilla Head as well as Don Quixote. It is also close to Daikoku Drug, Seven Eleven, etc.

Clean room and comfortable beds. Hotel is located in a strategic location that is near a train station. Would recommend to everyone and definitely stay here again.

The room is very small! Smaller than it's looked in picture. Staff is not helpful (always talked by themselves). Place is not strategic that it requires more distance, since train stops further than nearest station exit. And it's overpriced!

Good location. Tidy room. There is quite an area to open suitcases (rarely in Japan that can open suitcases). Good breakfast. Just my advice, just take a standard room, you don't need to take the executive club room because the club room facilities are limited and the club lounge room is small. SpreadEvening cocktails are very little compared to other hotels. Standard room is very sufficient.
