Tosei Hotel COCONE Tsukiji Ginza Premier

Wifi was not working during my stay, so I had to rely on my SIM card for internet. Hotel is fairly new, but the air conditioning was pretty loud and the airflow cannot be adjusted. The tv was also positioned in a weird spot, on the same wall as the bed headboard. Service is average—staff were friendly but do not expect them to allow complimentary late check-out or early check-in. The hotel is very walkable to the Tsukiji fish market, however the train station is about a 15 min walk away. The neighborhood is quiet with a Family Mart conveniently located next door.

I feel ripped off. I had to change my booking date by one day, but ensured that I rebooked the new date with Tosei Hotel COCONE Tsukiji Ginza Premier. I didn’t get a refund for the original change, even though I was led to believe that would be the case. I would never have booked my second stay at the hotel if I knew the refund for the changes earlier date wouldn’t be forthcoming. A nice hotel, that has been let down by their staff and policy inflexibility.

Hotel is conveniently located next to Tsukiji outer market and a 10-min walk from Tsukiji station. Staff at the front desk were helpful with storing our luggage before we checked in and after we checked out. The luxury twin room that we booked was spacious for Tokyo standard. However, although it is a ‘luxury’ room, we only get to look into the wall of an adjacent building 1.5m away. Hotel is not very eco friendly. Even though we did not request for housekeeping the room was made up every day and all towels changed. Hotel also has a public bath which, according to Japanese culture, should be used in nude and only after you have cleansed yourself thoroughly. During our stay, we witnessed a Caucasian mother in swimming costume who brought in her daughter and son into the bath meant for female only. There was a hotel staff at the counter outside the public bath but he did not stop the lady. Shouldn’t the staff have stopped them?

Wonderful experience!!! Next to the fish market and plenty to eat even at night. Hotel staff are super friendly and very clean room!! This is our second time staying here. Highly recommended!!

One of the worse hotel service I have ever stayed. Incident 1 - I made my reservation thru Agoda. Supposed to pay 23rd Dec 2359 but Agoda cancelled my booking at 9pm due to a change in my credit card. 1) I called Tosei hotel to check if they can reinstate my booking. I was told to call Agoda to put up the request. They said nothing to do with their system. 2) I then called Agoda. They put me on hold for 25 mins as they said they need to seek the approval from the hotel. Came back telling me Tosei rejected the request. They Told Agoda I have to book direct thru them. Which cost double of what I have paid in Agoda. 3) Tosei hotel- knowing that you would reject the request, why still bother asking me to call Agoda? I am overseas. You are totally wasting my time. Incident 2- 1) after I checked in, 30 mins later , your guy ask me to call Expedia to verify my full name. I have changed my name through the apps and it would be updated into the system. Why still insist I have to make IDD calls instead of verifying through my apps? Incident 3. I would like to check for luggage transport. Counter said they don’t do and they don’t know how to do it. then I ask for alternatives if they know UBER XL in Japan can fit big luggages. He replied me “we don’t provide such service” Tosei hotel- is this the kind of service you can do for your customers? No doubt your room is spacious and clean but your service is utterly disappointing.

Overall location and hotel facilities are great. Except the service of front desk very rigid, do not offer initiative to help when cant book transport to airport which make us nervous. We try book a day advance and after a call they just close case.

The staff are really hospitable, helpful, and always caring. It is a wonderful spot, with windows looking out on the old Tsukiji fish market. You can get free coffee whenever you need it. There is an absolutely charming reading room/lounge for you to use if you need to wait before or after checking in or out, or if you just want to enjoy the books and reading materials there. This is my second visit, and I hope to have the chance to return.

It was our first time in Japan, staff were nice and hotel was really clean. Recommend 10/10

Good location

Stylish new hotel with top notch facilities and amenities. Easy access to Tsukiji market, trains, Ginza, and areas to walk and explore. Service is friendly and efficient. The large tatami room suited our family of 4 well. The onsen was lovely and relaxing. This is a high-end option not to be missed.

Japanese buffet breakfast offered at the hotel. Lots of choices and all were great! Bath house is free to hotel guests and I had a great experience!

호텔 시설, 직원 친절도, 룸 컨디션 모두 흠잡을곳 없이 정말 좋습니다. 다음에 와도 아마 여기에서 묵을듯 합니다. 한가지 아쉬운 점은.. 아마 특정국가 단체손님을 받는거 같은데 이분들이 떼로 몰려다니면서 복도에서도 로비에서도 사우나 내에서도 시끄럽게 떠들어대서 짜증이 날때가 있습니다. 이건 호텔측 잘못이 아니니 최고의 리뷰 납깁니다

Though convenient to our needs the rooms are quite small and cramped. But we managed. If you choose to stay here be sure to include the buffet breakfast. We enjoyed the food and found it was a great way to start our day.

위치는 츠키지 시장 바로 옆인데 시끄럽지 않고 깔끔한 길에 있습니다. 시설도 깨끗하고 좋고 조식도 싸진 않지만 훌륭합니다. 직원들 서비스도 아주 만족스럽습니다. 하네다 공항 통해서 왔는데 지하철 타고 히가시긴자역에서 내려서 오니 약 10분쯤 걸은거 같습니다. 담에 와도 다시 묵을 의사 있습니다

Our housekeeper is awesome. We stayed in room 618. She gave us new towels, makes our bed, and provides what we need in our room daily without having to put the “clean my room” sign. The location is perfect!!! The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Knowledge & service at front desk was very poor

This hotel is a hidden gem. Not only is the location right in front of the Tsukiji Market, the subway stations are walking distance and the area is quiet and peaceful after hours.

Very beautiful and spacious room with parking. Loved the hoping facility. Staffs were very friendly and helpful.

This was truly a great hotel! The traditional styled Japanese rooms were awesome. Please note however the beds are on the floor which can be a bit toaster a few days.
