The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, any requests were taken care of. However the room was not up to my expectations as some of the sheets had a weird smell to it, and the bathroom reeked of cigarettes. We called the staff for air refreshener for it but it didn't really help. The bathroom itself had what looked like mold above the shower head which was a case of concern as well.

Staff very friendly. But the room and hotel smell very bad like old rotten wood smell. Breakfast Buffet was good, location is good, parking is horrible in terms of everything, and you have to go to reception every time you want to enter and exist parking which is not so convenient. Bayview langkawi was 100 times better than this one in Penang.
