All staffs are very friendly. Hotel location is near market and some famous kedai like Penang Road Laksa, Cheng Woh Medical Hall, Kimberly Street. Across the hotel is Lao Liu suan cai yu restaurant. Nice hotel to stay.

Nice hotel, comfort and spacious room, stunning view. Thanks to the frontdesk staff that we got seaview room. All the staff is nice, friendly, helpful. Keep the good work guys. The hotel just short distance to penang culinary, tourist attractions etc. Love it.

All the staff at Cititel Penang were very helpful and friendly. My child who uses a wheelchair and I felt very helped and given convenience. I was given 1 plastic chair to use in the toilet to make it easier for my child to take a bath. The room service menu was delicious. Didn't try the breakfast menu because access to the restaurant was not wheelchair friendly. 1 strange thing was that the breakfast ration was only for 1 person even though there were 2 people staying. The water dispenser was very helpful. The corridor to the room always smelled of cigarettes even though no one was smoking. Another good thing was that the receptionists called the room every day to ensure the comfort of their guests.

This hotel is suitable for people who want to hunt for delicious food in Penang. With the comfort room you can find all the delicious food around that hotel. You just park your car at hotel and walk around to find food that you are craving.

I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. I made a request through the appa for a one bed and a room near an elevator since I traveled alone, and I'm not really a fan of a hotel hallway. And the receptionist fulfilled my request! The receptionist and every staff member are very helpful and kind. Despite the look from outside like an old hotel, the interior in the lobby is really cool and bright. The room is not too spacious but more than enough for me, completed with a bathtub on the bathroom. The best part is they gave me a room with an ocean view which is very lovely. There are mineral water and water heater so it is also very helpful. They also provide sajadah, an iron (which is very important for me as a traveler), and a hairdryer in the room. Facilities are very complete! The location is also very strategic, near 24 hours supermarket, and lots of cafes and restaurants and stalls. Overall, I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again if I visit Penang next time.
