I should give credit for this hotel. I stay here for my honeymoon. This is the best hotel ever stay in Langkawi. Check in counter was friendly,they greet me and husband from the entrance. The check in was excellent and so very fast. They had prepared my room and it was really good.The facility was excellent. Breakfast was serve and arrangement was so amazing. Various of food being serve. Me and husband also being given complimentary voucher for massage and rooftop cafe drinks. The room was spacious and clean. I can give 10 star for the room. The rooftop cafe was so exciting. Me and husband can enjoy free drinks and order food and that really enjoy chitchat with fresh air at night with nice songs played. Gym facility also tiptop. Swimming pool also nice. Overall I will recommend this hotel to others. You should stay at goldsands. I can give 10star! I will repeat tonstay at this hotel when go to langkawi. Room 402,404 and 406 disaster everything everything everything. I don't know how the evaluations are given, but the hotel does not deserve a single star. Smell in the room, no hot water, cockroaches at breakfast

When going through the hallway to the room, it felt like the hotel was haunted because the lights along the way were very dim. We stayed in room 518. At night around 3am we heard a knock on the wall. In the bathroom, several times there are scary writings on the mirror. There is also a palm print on the mirror. But anyway the room is very spacious and comfortable. Only the atmosphere of the hotel is a bit creepy with dim lights. The hotel staff are very nice and cooperative.

the location, the pool rooms are all the best... the pool really has a view of the sea from the top, it's very peaceful... the service is less than 5 calls from check in until 6pm to change the mini bar, it's not cold until check out, the mini bar isn't cool, there's no maintenance or communication.. .

The check-in & check-out process is nice and fast. The staff is committed to work and polite, the cleanliness of the room is clean and the view is very beautiful, especially from the balcony of the room and the roof top. Just ask the management to make sure the aircond in the lobby is maintained because it is quite hot while waiting to enter the room. But overall I give 4.5/5 stars. Hats Off!!

Bilik yang kemas, bersih dan cantik, view dari bilik yang hebat dan rooftop mengagumkan. Proses masuk dan keluar juga cepat. Sarapan juga ok serta banyak pilihan. Cuma di lobi saja aircond tak sejuk. Sementara tunggu bilik siap, anak-anak dah bising panas. Tapi untuk keseluruhan skor saya dapat simpulkan 8.5/10 bintang! Saya pasti akan stay di Goldsand lagi. ❤️

The view outside of the hotel was so-so. BUT the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The room was spacious and big with comfortable beds and pillows. We enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast spread was just OK. Recommended. Definitely will come again.

Don't be fooled by the hotel exterior which might look old and rundown, wait until you see the room condition! I booked the Superior Room which I didn't expect much. Turns out it was way beyond expectation! The room was very spacious, clean and beautifully arranged. Perfect for even long business stays and vacation as well. Breakfast was delicious and had wide selection on the first day (Friday). However on the second day (Saturday), main course section was closed due to low occupancy, so I was asked to order at the counter either Malay (Nasi Lemak) or Western (American Breakfast). I ordered the American Breakfast, but the downside to this was that the main course portion was quite small and I can only order once! Other than that, food was still delicious though.

The hotel room is great but the bathing experience is worse as there is no hot water at all, you cannot compensate the room for the water heater as there is barely any hot water to shower. The hotel management said this is how they have been operating as their heater is located at level 13 and any room that is at level 10 and below will not get any hot water due to their system. If you are someone who needs hot water to shower or even warm water to shower please don't book this hotel as you will regret your stay. My 2 year and 5 year got fever as they showered in cold water. One of the worse hotel I've ever stayed.
