My vacation was not perfect just because I chose the wrong hotel. A tiring trip from Jakarta - KL airport and a 2-hour trip to the Grand Ion Hotel at 15:00 and when I arrived there I had to wait more than 2 hours to prepare my 2 rooms that I had booked a few days ago. The receptionist initially waited 15 minutes and would inform me when the room was ready but the room was not ready until 17:00 and it turned out that I was not the only one who complained but many. When I entered the room, my goodness the room smelled very pungent, the floor looked like it had just been mopped but it was not dry and I am sure the water was very dirty causing the room to smell very pungent. Like and exactly like a house that keeps dogs, it smells 🤮. From this hotel to the venue, it was very troublesome to go back and forth using Grab. If you use the bus provided, pay 7 MYR for 1 person and the children are also charged the same! The receptionist when we complained and asked when the room would be ready, instead of apologizing, she put on an annoying face and left the customer to the back office. Very annoying. It turns out that the annoying thing is not only the receptionist but the hotel security is also not friendly. This hotel is only suitable for 2-3 stars.
