Inn Home Hotel Muar

The location is very strategic and close to the ferry port.

Bad experience in terms of service. Accommodation, hotel location etc was okay. Two days before check in, already called and informed the staff to check in early at 4am - 5am. Plus I have written a special request for early check-in on booking apps. On the day of the incident, I arrived at the hotel to check in at 6.30 am, the recipe said I can only check in at 12 pm 🙂 on the phone I said yes, when I got there I said no. Kinda disturbing the plan since we take public transport. If you can't check in early then just inform during the phone call, easier for guest to make plans. Later at 12pm we came back to check in, the receptionist had changed (men's morning, women's afternoon). At first she gave us room 506 at level 5 and everything was just fine. We took the elevator to level 5, and found the 506 room. But when we entered the room, suddenly the housekeeper got mad at us and literally screamed at us. "WHOSE BROTHER IS YOU GOING IN FOR??! THE ROOM IS NOT READY YET" and we were like ???? we won't like to go in unless you have a prescription for that room?? Then the baiya made a phone call and informed us to go change room. Once again we were like????? It was the guest who got angry, the recipe was wrong for the room, now the guest who wants to go back all the way to the lobby to go change room? Like make some effort, you who gave me the wrong room, at least go up and give us the other key 🥲 But at that time we were very tired after nearly 9 hours traveling by bus. Went back to the lobby and got a new room 507. The room was just fine. It's just that I can't even watch TV because it's not broadcast. Everything else was just fine and acceptable. It was a very tiring and exhausting experience. Definitely not gonna repeat Inn Home Hotel.

The hotel is very clean, next time if you can get a room facing the Muar River, the view is the best and most beautiful.

Horrible stay ever! Room full of dust, coakroach on my bed amd bathroom. The hotel management is bad! Will never never book this hotel again!

The room has very bad smoke smell, people smoke inside the room. & the towel got smell too.

I really have a big shock to find Bible book because this is Malaysia and the Constitution said that Islam is the official religion of the nation. They didn't respect it. Pls management. Take note on this matter

Good location, ckean but no breakfast and very minimal basic amenities and flooring too cold

overall was just ok. no mini fridge inside the room, no extra towel (small) to put in front of toilet, no hanger

The room and toilet is clean. The wifi wasn't working but we did not inform the counter as it was only for a night. There were only local channels on the TV. I appreciate that they installed phones at the corridor connected to the reception counter, common ironing board and water dispenser. Thank you for the complimentary bottled water.

The room given was at the corner and near the fire exit. It was dark and when we entered, there's this long bench positioned in front of the door, so weird. The location is very strategic though, super closes to the city centre, bus terminal, and all the eateries. So if you could get other rooms, then maybe it will be a more positive story

Parking is too limited and it's hard to come in. It's just a danger. The others are ok

The hotel's location is convenient because it is located in the middle of the city, but the room condition is not satisfactory as the room is messy and there is a cracked effect on the wall of the room. The parking place is also quite cramped.

Firstly, the hotel picture posted a bit misleading. Hotel was not in its own building. Actually on busy traffic. 2. Not well clean room. Got lady's hair on floor in my room. 3. Looking for in room phone, but it actually centralised outside the room. Request for praying mat, the receptionist simply ask me to go down to lobby to self pick it up since she was the one on duty that time. What a... 4. No connection elevator from parking to hotel lobby long list to add but I think this would be enough. Will definitely never come back to this hotel. 👎👎
