Important Note

As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

Effective 1st Aug 2019, the Hotel will be charging a nominal fee of RM2.00 per validation of car park ticket
Please be informed that our swimming pool will be closed from the 27/03 – 21/04 for repair and maintenance works. Hot water in the rooms will also not be available from the 27/03 – 21/04 due to breakdown on the hot water system. The repairs will take approximately 3 weeks due to the Hari Raya holidays and the factories are closed.
For guest who booked Ramadan package, please be informed that the buffet is no longer available as it is applicable for Ramadan month only.

I recently started here during thaipusam season. Their room and breakfast is good. But for room service food is really expensive. More over they charged for parking. Even underground parking they charged per hour Rm2. I'm not sure why are you charging for hotel underground parking. Hotel should provide free parking for their customer. I think you should consider on parking fee. We pay for hotel plus need to pay for parking also? Also the baby cot with stainless steel frame. Like a hospital crib. TV channels also not clear at all.

Close to the city center, quiet place, close to tourist destinations, lastly I booked an apartment type but there was a problem with the balcony door not being able to lock, the staff quickly responded and changed to a hotel type without any additional costs.

Allocated a room 1016 but upon checking in, the room aircon hot and phone not working. They didn't suggest to change room instead I have to ask for it. Newly allocated room OK but would have been better if the view faces Kinta River. The best of the hotel is the Chinese restaurant which served very very delicious food. Ordered the ginger spring onion duck, tofu with crab meat gravy and vegetables-very nice. The desserts (egg drop custard pudding and water chestnut egg soup) were also very special and nice.

While the service was okay overall, the standout was undoubtedly Mr. Kartikh, the reception staff at the Riverview Coffee House. His unwavering helpfulness and trustworthiness made a lasting impression, showcasing him as a truly valuable asset to the hotel. It's rare to encounter someone so genuinely dedicated to ensuring guests have a fantastic stay. Here's hoping for more individuals like Mr. Kartikh in this world.

The food that we eat always the same food that they serve yesterday. We need different recipes. And 1 more things. We add extra bed but we receive at 12am at night. I am so disappointed about this. Room number 1404. It was really irritating. 12am we need to sleep. But the bed doesn't come ASAP.
