First the woman at reception was great. Very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is close to public transit.

This is our second time returning to new west inn, we’d previously visited earlier in the year and was satisfied with our trip.
Despite the location from the centre & the fact that one of us couldn’t walk very well at the time… it didn’t bother us that it was 20 minutes from the centre. We bought day passes for the trams (use GetYourGuide)
Hoeknes stop is closest to the hotel, it’s very easy to use Amsterdam transport.
There is an Aldi round the corner. I also highly recommend trying jacks and waffles which is also located next to Aldi!!
I’d recommend this hotel. & I will most likely be returning for a third time! We had a relaxing couple of days in Amsterdam. Thank you.

The room is quite big. There is City Tax if it's not included, it will be billed at check-in. Close to the tram and easy access to other areas by tram. You can buy tram tickets at the receptionist.

We're at Amsterdam at autumn. The weather was quite cold. And hotel room is so cold. No warmer in the room. Also hotel internet connection was quite poor.

The hotel is located in a peaceful environment. Quite near to tram 17 station. And for a Muslim family, there are a number of halal restaurants nearby.
