Novotel Makkah Thakher City

it was 2 days before eid, we arrived at the hotel at first a bit hesitantly, the hotel was big but it was in outskirt of downtown, a bit in a rural area with little accomodation, but the hotel experience was great, the staff is engaging, nice, and accomodating, even though it's a bit hard to find a budget meal, everything else makes up for it Ambiance/Facilities: the facilities is clean and neat with an open atmosphere that is inviting Food: while food in hotel is a bit expensive, it was a good quality and tasted so good, just have a bit more spice if you don't into that sort of stuff then maybe just go down the road, a brisk 15 minute walk then you can try other type of food that arabia can offer Staff Assistance: the staff is nice and very professional, anything that can help you will be given by them free of charge Price: the price was a steal, only about 1000 SAR can get you a three bedroom for one night Location: the location was the only downside, it is near a construction zone so maybe in the future, this location might be a prime loation for tourist, but for now it is in an aoutskirt in mecca propoer

The hotel is good, the rooms are spacious, clean, fast service, delicious food, the restaurant is spacious, the menu is varied, there is a shuttle bus every 30 minutes, when checking in it is easy and fast, we brought our grandchildren, the service in the restaurant for babies is also good, hopefully we will be given good fortune again to come and stay at the Novotel Thakher Mecca. Great 👍👍👍

We stayed without a menu for sahur & iftar, but on the last day we ordered breakfast, the menu was delicious and varied but Middle Eastern style food. The room was nice like Novotel standard, complete facilities with hot/cold water, water heater, iron & table, hairdryer, mini fridge, and spacious room plus sofa bed. The room was cleaned every day. The good thing about Novotel Thaher is that even though the hotel is 3 km from the Haram mosque, the hotel provides a bus shelter that is always ready both from & to Haram. This really helped us, even though the hotel was full of guests, we were well served by Novotel Thaher with the transportation provided. One more thing, there are 3 Novotel Towers plus 1 Residence ... each providing its own advantages, there is a mini marker, a coffee shop and in our tower, tower 1 provides a paid massage chair. This helps us when we feel very tired after activities 🤗. Thank you Novotel Thaher, looking forward to staying at Novotel again 💐

Everything is ok, except for the location, where it turns out it's hard to find a taxi at 10pm at the end of Ramadan.

Clean room, very friendly staff, fast respond for what we need. The shuttle bus from/to the hotel just stops near the Masjidil Haram.

Recommended... Free shuttle bus to Haram 24 hours, every 30 minutes... View 👌.

The hotel is very far from the Grand Mosque.. a shuttle is provided, but you have to transit and the Gaza terminal is quite far if you walk to the inside of the mosque.

Wonderful service, international standard because it is Novotel. Best alternative when you need privacy, away from your group accommodation in Zamzam tower 😀. Love my 2 night stay during my Hajj in 2024.

The hotel smells good from the lobby until you enter the room. The room was so comfortable that my wife didn't want to go home. There is a free shuttle bus to the Grand Mosque every 1 hour. I ordered a room without breakfast, so I had to go out to find food myself. You have to walk a bit to the main road to find food, but there is quite complete, there is a nasi mandi restaurant with prices starting at 18SAR. Burgers, pizza, from 7SAR and convenience stores.

Initially it was wrong to give the room type according to the order, but after confirmation it was immediately given according to the order. Comfortable room, new hotel, delicious food, shuttle near Syib bus terminal.

Hotelnya sangat bagus, pelayanan front office ramah dan sangat membantu, kamar luas, ada sofa bed bisa di jadikan tempat tidur extra. Cocok untuk membawa keluarga. Jarak ke Masjidil Haram sekitar 2km, Ada free service mobil ke Masjidil Haram (PP). Dapet kamar di lantai 19, bisa menikmati sunset dari kamar. Hotel *4 setara *5. Harga competitive, penilaian 10/10.

Sangat memuaskan, ada mobil antar tamu ke Masjidil Haram.
