Compare to same price hotel in Singapore, it is clean and nice. Staff are friendly, room are comfortable but not tinny. All the room implement Apple TV now. It is definitely value for money stay.

The table was not cleaned the next day. Coffee machine was dusty. Room was noisy because of the next door guests. Overall stay was good. Room was clean.

The hotel needs renovation and deep cleaning. There are moldy in toilet and rooms, the room was smelly and bad ventilation.

Location is very strategic, bus stop right in front of hotel. The staff is kind enough to give me early check-in because the room happened to be ready upon my arrival. The cleaning staffs did such a great work keeping the room clean despite the room being quite old. The room is not very soundproof can hear quite clearly people talking outside, unfortunately those that stay here lack courtesy to keep their voice down too. Nevertheless, Value Hotel Balestier is always my choice when visiting Singapore.

The room has its own toilet, reasonable price but the room partition is not soundproof so you can hear the sound of the next room very clearly. I don't like the smell in the room very much and the cleaning quality is not good. There is a bus stop In front of the hotel for easy transportation.

Very compact room. Limited clothing hook. Bed is tough. WiFi keep disconnecting. Electric socket very low electric current even thou you have fast charging plugs it 's no use charging will still be slow. I could even hear the room next door snoring. Toilet drain is dirty assuming it 's shit as there 's no bidet so people tend to clean and wipe their ass with the shower to the drain. To be honest just the location it 's good as it very easy to get by anywhere such as orchard tanjong pagar bugis just take the bus.

We usually stay at this hotel. Good location with appropriate service. However, this time we received rather rude service from one of the reception staff named Pav. She mocked our English pronunciation of"scissors"with repeating and her gesture and when asked by the manager to help us with bringing scissors to our room, she didn't seem sincere and slurred all the way in the elevator.

Pillows bad odour. Call to receptionist ask to change but never come. I go down to find them with the pillows. He smell it and not admit it and said that 's the smell of their chemical thing. Come on! That 's smell of peoples sweat like you didn't change the pillow cover or the pillow too old or need sun light!
