Hotel Stendhal

(Pictures are from the end of the stay) Overall a great Korean hotel. The room layout I had was rather weird but the amenities far exceeded anything you’ll find at a US style hotel, depending of course on what’s important to you. The room had a clothes styler which was great for prepping the next day’s outfit. A full body massage chair, which I’d use before my shower at night at bedtime. Despite working out and walking everywhere, I was never sore the next morning. The bed was adjustable. The toilet had a bidet. The shower room was big enough to have a party inside. Air conditioning and an air neutralizer. The property has a restaurant. For breakfast, it’s not the greatest but it has everything you need. There is no gym or pool on the premises but right down the street there is a place called “Science Town” that has a spa and really nice gym (24 hours). The staff was helpful when needed.

Free valet parking was a big plus in a busy city. Although the hotel is located in a happening night spot, it was very quiet inside. Exceptionally clean. Staff was very friendly and communicated clearly. Breakfast was included and it was good for hotel fare. The in room massage chair was a plus. There are many restaurants, shops and clubs within walking distance. Excellent stay.

Convenient transportation, lots of restaurants nearby, wonderful room condition and friendly staff. Will definitely book again when re-visiting Daejeon.

In general very clean, safe, and good location. Staff was not that professional and friendly at check in. Great breakfast service from the owner of the restaurant.

The first time we stayed at this hotel the room was located in the 8th floor and it was amazing. There was massage chair and other facilities. However this time the room was in the third floor and the condition of the room and facilities were different. There was a smell of fired food when we tried to open the window and the room ventilator was not enough.

The facilities were great. Very clean and nice hotel.

The hotel was really good, great amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful but the breakfast was terrible. I understand it was free but it seemed like everything was boiled and covered in bad sauce. Waste of food.

The best place I have stayed in Korea hands down. Beautiful hotel room with bath lounging area and privacy for the restroom. Not to mention an amazing bathtub, as well as tv selection with countless shows in a variety of languages. Hotel breakfast was absolutely amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly! Also this hotel is located in a beautiful area right next to a subway station and McDonalds. Loved it so much, I wish I could go back!

I wasn't really aware, but for a couple we booked a suite that turned out to be an amazing "party room" with 2 jacuzzies, 3 beds, a kitchen and more. Room was very clean, beds very comfortable, some small stuff (like shower head in the main jacuzzi) didn't work. Valet parking was free, and we got 2 beers + salad included when we checked in. It's an amazing hotel, the only down point to us was breakfast, that didn't offer much in term of Western choices

Clean hotel with good-sized rooms. Average buffet breakfast, restaurant downstairs had some nice Italian food with room service. Within walking distance of plenty of different food options & convenience stores.
