The Sunbee hotel was very close to many shops, and restaurants. We were also within walking distance of two historical palaces, and two subway stations. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind whenever we needed help with something. I highly recommend staying here. If I ever manage to make it back to South Korea, this is where I'll be staying!

Very clean and spacious room. The mattress was just the perfect firmness as were the pillows, and the blanket was nice and thick and heavy and warm. Great location in centre of everything yet tucked away from noisy areas. Helpful and polite service.
Only thing to note is that the toilet seat is not heated and there is no bidet. Water pressure for shower was a little low, but the water was hot enough.

Sunbee is GREAT for its location. Just a 1min walk away from the heart of insadong, it’s quiet and safe and the service staff are really great. But go in knowing it’s as advertised a 2star hotel. Rooms are clean, functional but dated. Only have bathtubs so it’s not really suitable for the elderly. Toilets also have no bidets so be really for cold seats in winter! Laundry is free and works perfectly fine, but it’s a walk down to the basement and next to the staff showering area.
Overall if you don’t mind the lack of finesse it’s a really great place for it’s location!

Hotel Sunbee is conveniently located right at the culture street in Insadong. There are many shops, cafe and restaurants that are very interesting. Staff at Hotel Sunbee were quiet but very respectful and friendly and spoke English. I had several questions and requests that were all met with satisfaction above and beyond. I strongly recommend this place if you plan on staying near Insadong. There is an Airport but stop nearby, walking distance, if you need to get to ICN.

This is a lovely quiet hotel, nicely appointed right in the heart of Insadong and in easy walking distance to many of the best attractions of historic Seoul. The vibe is quietly classy. The only drawback is that the hotel is too small to have breakfast service and some amenities, but you can walk around the corner to Amid Hotel to buy breakfast buffet, pick up snacks at their cafe or grocery shop. We were there 10 days, and it was totally worth it. Would definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunbee. The location is fantastic – right in the middle of Insadong, and very close to the subway with easy access to some of Seoul’s most vibrant markets. Staff made it very easy to check in and took great care of us throughout our stay. Our room is available early, which made it very nice when we arrived around noon to get settled. And all around great experience, and we would absolutely stay here again.

A quiet location in the heart of Insadong and within easy walking distance of several tube lines and key tourist attractions in the north of the city. Staff were nice and friendly. They also give out a photocopied sketch map highlighting different local restaurants/cafes. The attached Sunbee cafe really only serves drinks so don't count on it for breakfast although there any plenty of other options nearby.

We loved our stay at Sunbee. The hotel is in the best place for visiting Seoul. Multiple times we would comment to ourselves that "we chose the best hotel." Great shopping one block away and absolutely quiet. Could not hear any street noise. It was comfortable and truly a great experience. Will definitely be going back.
