Stayed at the Kody for 5 nights. The highlight of our stay was the location. Simply could not be beaten. Right by exit 4 of Jongjo 3(Sam) - ga station, which makes it super easy to navigate around the city. Furthermore, there are other stations within walking distance of the hotel. During the weekend the whole street feels up with Koreans sitting in the Pocahs around the street having drinks and food. It is such a unique and Korean experience, which I highly recommend. The rooms, though on the smaller side, are perfect for a city vacation where you are mostly outside the room during the day. You have almost no interaction with stuff, which I appreciate, as it makes the stay seamless. Another thing in favor of the hotel is the laundry room. Both reasonably priced and convenient, it helps a lot and really is a value able amenity to have, no matter what point in your trip you are. Overall, while not cheap, I think the value for money is good, considering location and amenities, I would recommend staying at the hotel.

Overall, 4 it of 5 stars. Clean, in a safe area, and convenient with the train entrance nearby. The elevators sometimes took a while and we could hear the person next to us, especially in the morning. I would stay again becuase of the vibe and the spacious room.

We stayed in a room with a king-bed overlooking the streets, on the 10th floor. From check in to check out, we had a very pleasant experience. The staff were always kind, knowledgeable and spoke in perfect English. The room was clean and comfortable enough for us, although we had to manoeuvre our suitcases around daily because the space is tight. There are several reviews about the loud noise from the stores below but it did not really bother us; we all generally slept soundly and the sound was quite muted. The location is close to Insadong street, the train station and is easy to get an uber to/ from as well. There are also games on the first floor to enjoy while waiting for your uber, which our daughter loved. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. :)

Busy community, but I think that's normal anywhere in Asia. Room is small, normal in Asia:-) Clean. Very young vibe. laundry facility is awesome for long-term travelers. Bar on roof-top with awesome view. Staff are accomodating. Centrally located with many transportation options. Lots of restaurants around and night live is definitely available.

Hotel is right by the subway station and conveniently near many restaurants. It gets busy on weekend nights, but I couldn’t really hear the street noise even though my room faced it (maybe other reviewers have more sensitive ears). Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the room and bathroom were clean and had adequate space.

I loved this hotel! It's in the middle of everything, which is very exciting. It's also quite comfortable. The rooms are small, but everything is thoughtfully laid out so they work great. I moved to a fancier hotel for work after my stay at the Moxy and I had more room, but nothing was better. These rooms are efficient and slick. And the rooftop bar is sweet too. I used the baggage storage and that worked great too. Only downside is that sometimes the elevators get backed up, which can be a little annoying with the reception on the top floor.

Took a shower and the water never got hot. The bathroom sink plunger was shut so the sink drained very slowly and there was food debris leftover from prior guest.

The hotel was clean. Universal adaptors on all switches which is a huge bonus. Staff was kind and the breakfast Buffett was amazing. Accessibility of laundry was also a huge plus. Easy walking distance to the main palace, shrines AND you're right on 3 subway lines. Shopping in the alleys right across the street. The only two real negatives. one: we had a room which faced the street and it was noisty at times with music (but we were there over cheusok so maybe that's why?) It wasn't a consistent issue. Nothing some light ear plugs couldn't fix The second thing was the price of the rooftop beer/snak. It was very overpriced. Their honey highball was fantastic and worth it. We redeemed our free drink ticket and the drink was..... Drinkable sorta. But it was free so can't complain. Their cracker snack however was totally overpriced for saltines, boxed bread sticks and 3 dips (2 were the same). The bed was too firm for us but that is totally personal preference. Loved that you needed a key tap to access your floor.

This is a young people’s hotel. It’s fun in decor and a great location. The street is full of restaurants with pop ups outside every night from 6pm. Subway station access is literally at the front door. Rooms whilst small have been arranged for maximum space so definitely doesn’t feel cramped. Great amenities such as affordable self-service laundry and onsite wow pass kiosk. Bar mocktails were a little too sweet for my liking but the roof top bar does have a nice view and a pleasant atmosphere.

I am Korean American, and to be honest, I am not really sure how this hotel justifies the price. It’s in mid-$100 range, and it provides minimal facilities with “essential” amenities. Location itself is very convenient, just a few steps from subway and “gay” pub area so it was convenient. The staffs were extremely kind, accommodating and professional but other than staffs, I would say it was more or less a 2 star level business hotel with poor design theme. I get they wanted to make it “cool” gen Z vibe but it feels like it’s too extra. The room itself was very small but comfortable though. I would search around the hotel (or motels) around the area before you book Moxy.

The location was perfect! A 5 minute walk from where the airport limo service drops you off and right in front of a subway station and across the street from the Myeongdong market which has amazing food options. A lot of 24hr convience stores in the area, which is helpful for a 4am snack. It is VERY SAFE! The hotel is rather new and the room and bathroom was top notch. If you have never experienced a high tech Asian toilet, you are in for a treat! The staff was so helpful and even helped me communicate with the KTX bullet train to confirm my departure time. I would definitely come back and stay here if I came back to Seoul!
