This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. I think this is a great option for travelers and hikers. Breakfast is served every morning and i was able to sit in the small library and visit the onsite chapel. I They also have a playground and basketball court. I will stay here everytime i visit Einsiedeln

My daughter-in-law and I enjoyed a wonderful vacation visiting precious family and friends. The Allegro served us well during our visit and I recommend the hotel to others who are looking for a conveniently located hotel close to Einsiedeln and Gross, the Monastery, perfect for hikes and long walks and shopping. The daily breakfast buffet offers a variety of delicious items, and the menu for lunch and dinner will satisfy all appetites. Enjoy your stay at the Allegro!

Hotel close to the Benediction Monastery to see the black Madonna. It was within walking distance to the Monastery which was what we wanted. They have a strict check-out policy so make sure you are able to leave on time. We received different late fees amounts to stay later but decided to leave for the train at the 10 am checkout time. Hotel room had everything we needed for our stay.

quiet, safe, and very friendly property in a beautiful area. Great for travelers who like to take long walks and see the panoramic views and a quaint little town with a historic cathedral. The hotel was a little odd for a Westerner as it seemed to be a combined hostel/summer camp/hotel. The on-site restaurant offered very tasty food and the drink selection was local and very good. Breakfast was provided and had a great variety of options.

Conveniently located to where we were attending an event. All-in-all it was a good stay. The only problem we had was that the smoking area directly in front of the hotel entry also happened to be almost directly below our room so opening a window for some fresh air got us smoky air plus the people talking on their mobile phones or to each other when we were trying to sleep.

The hotel itself is very nice, the breakfast was excellent, the location is excellent, 1. There is one thing about location which is might be not a problem of hotel itself problem: The hotel located in neighborhood which is completely dark at night. While driving by GPS at night it is very coming from outside the entry is behind and no sign to hotel, when looking outside of car there is nothing seen in darkness. When coming from Eisendeln the entry is seen better. Had to make 2 rounds around the city until found it. 2. Except the problem with finding the entry stay was excellent.

Das Badezimmer hat nur eine Schiebetür mit Spalt, keine Privatsphäre! Abendessen im Hotel-Restaurant nicht empfehlenswert. Das Frühstück war gut bis auf die kalten gekochten Eier.
