It was challenging to sleep in late September due to the heat.
Opening windows led to mosquito issues, making sleep impossible.

Beautiful, elegant hotel right on Lake Lucerne. Breathtaking views on lakeside. I was afraid that no A/C would be a problem but it cooled down very nicely at night so it was comfortable. The grounds were well kept with lots of good seating areas and water toys to use on the lake. The restaurant and service were excellent.

The place is amazing. Historic hotel with amazing view over the Lake and mountains. Staff was super nice. The quality of the food at restaurant is average and the wine way too expensive. Cocktails at the bar are very standard but average. Overall a very romantic stay.

Beautiful hotel right on the lake overlooking the mountains that hug this area in. A real mix of olde Swiss with artful traditional colour on the exterior and on the ceilings inside, then a crisp, clean modern twist in the bedrooms. Wonderful views, excellent staff, great comfortable sleep. Our meal was delicious, seeved while gazing onto an orange sky as the sun went down behind the mountains!

Was a little out of the way but near train that went up the mountain, ferry terminal and bus stop. Hotel was delightful. You could swim in the lake. Would recommend if you want a quiet getaway. Grocery store nearby and local restaurants
