Its a great concept with great interiors n great service and great location. Only negative was the bed, which had an inferior mattress n blanket which made sharing a bed very difficult. If u wont b sharing a bed its reasonable though. If they have an option to top up for good mattress and individual blankets, id pay n rank 5 stars!

The Cho is very conveniently located. The hotel reminds me of a dormatory. The room was listed with a balcony, there was none but did have a huge picture window. Bed was springy and sheets were stained. WiFi went out a lot for long periods. They don’t want people flushing toilet paper. Free snacks and drinks on the second floor and umbrellas are at the main door which was helpful for rainy days.

Cho Hotel is really quite a great place to stay. The rooms aren’t huge but they are big enough. The bang for your buck is really what this place brings. It’s charming, it’s quaint and offers a lot of great freebies like unlimited cup noodles, snacks and drinks as well as free diy laundry. I gave it 5* for everything except overall which I gave a 4* and that’s purely because I believe the rooms could use a mattress upgrade and also add some shelving for some storage space for your belongings. Everything else in the room was fantastic and we would definitely stay here again!

The location was super convenient, leading to the heart of ximending within a couple of minutes walking. Staff were lovely upon check in and the minibar with free noodles and free snacks was a cherry on top to rest and eat after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend this hotel if you are wanting to stay in a convenient location in Taipei!

Service was kind and they offer free snacks, instant noodles, and sodas/teas/juices. That was great. The room was very clean/tidy overall, but they have a severe humidity and mold problem. There was a dehumidifier in the room on our arrival and it collected several liters each day. Despite this and running the AC, the room felt more humid than outside, and there was a black mold growing on all walls of the room, pipe insulation, and in caulk lines and between tiles of the bathroom. Due to the mold, we would not return.

Its very near ximending..just a 5 to 7 min walking distance..They also got provide service of transport However,during mynlast booking to the airport..the driver seem not happy..He do not want any of us to seat in front seat.I got 1 elderly and 2 young kids..When reach airport..he help to open do then thats it..might as well he seat in his car..I was trap at the back of the seat.Need to wait all to alight then i can come out..hai..

I made my reservation through Expedia using my Amex. It seems like the hotel doesn’t take Amex. The hotel reached out last minute saying they will cancel my reservation unless I provide another payment method. I had to give them my credit card details via email. In terms of the actual stay, I could barely sleep for 4 nights because of poor sound proofing. The door did not block any noise at all. I could hear everything and every conversation happening in the hallway. The room also wasn’t that clean - there were strands of hair and other dirt in the room. Amenities like snack bar and free laundry are great but good luck using the dryer as it is always occupied.

The staff was very welcoming. I stayed during Lunar New Year and they had special welcoming gifts for guests during that time, it was a great touch! Location is very convenient with lots around but still away from the busy/noisy streets.

We stayed in a triple room, which was okay—clean, nice, and a bit small but manageable. However, after my husband left, I moved to a double room, and it was terribly cold, with no heater and humidity everywhere. Be mindful of what you rent.
The hotel it is in a nice neighborhood and people that works here are nice.

Nice clean hotel
Bathroom was great size room small but bed was comfortable
On second floor had communal room with micro wave but the surprise was all the snacks and coffee and tea facilities one evening there were even sandwiches(may me because it was chinese new year or maybe the rest of stay didnt have them because they were all eaten or it was holidays after new year)but snick supply was very generous
Staff were helpful but language got in the way sometimes
Tea and fridge in room
Washers and dryers but dryers did the motions but took hours to dry
Overall good location and would have no problems to recommend

Over all services and condition was great, especially 2'nd floor snack bar was great. But room is not spacious as I expect. No room service available nor room snack bar. Laundry service provided as self-service but not enough machine especially dryer. Easily accessible from MRT station.

Old building that is used as a hotel. Feels more like a backpacker’s accommodation. Laundry facilities is a plus but the dryer is a choke point as there are only 2 units and they are not enough for the guests to share.

Hotel is old and rooms are very small. The aircon in our room doesn’t seem to be working well. Carpet is dark colour and it gives the feeling that it is not very clean. Bed is very hard and it’s not a comfortable stay.
