The location of this hotel very near to railway station, a lot of shops around, very convenient. The room is very spacious, very clean. The theme and design of the hotel make it very attractive, my breakfast love it so much! The bed very comfortable, just the pillow a bit too soft. I would like to thanks Mr Rock Huang for his help to check the transportation for us. His warm welcome make our day. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

I turned in my room keys to the front desk and ckecked out at 8:25am. But I got an email at 12:11pm saying that I had not checked out yet and that additional fees might occur.

Train station across the road, night market 5 minute walk.

Very good location, it’s about two minutes walk to Chiayi Tran station and 10 minutes walk to Wen Hua night market. All our rooms are very clean and comfortable. Water pressure is very good, bed is on firmer side but I didn’t get back pain.

Excellent location if 1) you are going to Alishan via non-private transportation (bus, cruise bus) 2) Reaching Chaiyi by train.
Another plus, it has self-serve laundry facilities.
Front desk staff went far and beyond to help us to inquire/book Alishan transportation at the very last minute. Extra thanks to Louise and staff !!

Mega hotel is centrally located, next to the TRA train station, which is very convenient. The staff were very helpful, especially Andy who secured a taxi for us to Fenqihu after the typhoon knocked out all rail and buses.
The gym was a bonus, although it was a bit ‘tired…and the same song played over and over again for the entire time we were there. But overall, a good stopover on the way to Alishan.

My Canadian credit card works fine in other Taiwanese hotels in my trip but not at Chiayi Mega Hotel. Not sure why. Maybe the settings of their payment machine. The only option is to pay cash which is very inconvenient for me.
