I really needed an emoji face between good and bad. More of a neutral. The hotel looked very nice amongst lots of lush greenery, had a good pool and plenty of sunbeds (however it gets really busy and is hard to get a bed in a sunny spot). The room was nice and modern but freezing. First time I've been freezing in Thailand, ever. The room wasn't as clean as it could have been with cobwebs on the ceiling, in the lights and things hanging from the ceiling. The worst part about the room was the bathroom being absolutely stinking. Rancid in fact. There was a burner left on there which must have been put in there initially to mask the smell, so I asked for it to be lit and more oil put in. It didn't help the smell though. If I'd been there longer than 2 nights I'd have had to move. The breakfast was fantastic with nice bread, freshly cooked eggs or omelette, fresh moist cakes, fresh fruit and lots of Asian dishes. There 's even a latte or cappuccino machine. Location wise, it 's 700 metres away from the centre, and while not forever away, it would have been nice to have been slightly closer. Great hotel for the food and the pool but not so much the room. The bed was ginormous though!
