DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Downtown

We had a nice visit, but parking was outrageous. Whether you used valet parking, or not, the fee was still $30 a night in the garage. Street parking was very limited and left your vehicle exposed to passersby. We had two cars, so we had to pay $60 a night.

My stay was great and the staff were very nice! The cookies are amazing and made the experience worth it! Our room was clean and had all of the essentials that we needed. The only problem that we had was Expedia has incorrect information listed for the hotel such free breakfast and free parking. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

For a one night stay this was not good at all. Upon pulling up to register, we were ambushed by a valet that couldn't even explain the service to us. After getting to the front desk the employee was quite arrogant. We had a few questions about our room, which had been given to someone else, and we were brushed off. We asked about the deposit and they acted as if we were bumpkins. Never told us where the elevator was, or that the key was needed for the garage. The room was okay, not really clean, and very noisy. 6th floor interstate traffic heard all night. We checked out using the app, and I was texted at 11:30 asking how my stay was going, no clue we were gone. We will not being staying here again. Not worth over $200.

We stayed in Room 1033 between Jan 10 - 12, 2025 and it was a horrible experience. It was clear the property was dated. Our room layout was all choppy and hard to navigate. But that wasn't the worst of it. Every fixture in the bathroom to include the towel bar, faucet, toilet paper dispenser, and toilet seat were loose and difficult to use. There was black mold on the vents in the bathroom as well. The towels were like sandpaper and you could see through them in spots. The climate control for the room was split into two units. One never came off of "cold" (it was in the 40's outside during the evening), the other barely warmed the room. In addition there was dust around the vents and the light fixtures. The bed platform was bigger than the bed, which was weird. Everything in the room was dated. Parking was equally as awkward. You had to take a separate elevator to get to your vehicle from the hotel and it was the hotel's parking garage!!! There are many choices in hotels near this property, and we would entertain staying at another Double Tree/Hilton hotel, but definitely NOT this one NOR would we recommend it!

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Orlando, and it was a fantastic first experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in was such a thoughtful and delicious touch. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and beautifully designed. My room was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the view of downtown Orlando was stunning. I also appreciated the convenient location, which made it easy to explore the city. Overall, my experience at the DoubleTree Downtown Orlando exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return for another stay!

Got our room and it had a terrible smell like it was not cleaned properly.

BED BUGS!! The rooms are running alive with bed bugs… I complain to the manager Megan, she moved us to another room, which was cockroaches running around. I immediately asked for a refund and left.

Our check-in was easy and stay was excellent!
