Holiday Inn Express & Suites THORNBURG-S. FREDERICKSBURG, an IHG Hotel

Upon arrival the staff member was extremely friendly, breakfast was great and the space is actually huge! Would be nice to have the TV where the couch is but not a biggy. Lighting needs to be placed where couch is too.

We liked this property but too close to highway / noisy. I probably wouldn’t choose it again for that reason but, if that doesn’t bother you, it’s a solid, predictable HI experience.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with a variety of options of both hot and cold foods . Numerous variety of beverages both hot and cold . Room was clean and well maintained .

This hotel was in a good location near the highway for my 1 night stay. I was put on the 1st floor which had a pet smell, so I requested a non-pet room and was moved to the 3rd floor which was a lot better. The room was big and bed was comfy.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

I loved this hotel. My only comment is if you stay here, make sure you ask for a room that is NOT facing I95. It can be quite noisy at night. Otherwise, I was well pleased. Even the breakfast in the morning had a really nice selection.

The room was very clean, the beds oh so comfortable more than my own. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly. I would definitely stay again

Beds were comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The breakfast was nice and it did change a bit each day which was nice. This hotel is right off the freeway so it makes it easy to get around. There isn't too much close but there is a couple of fast food restaurants and plenty of gas stations super close. The hotel next to this one is a tad more sketchy and it seems to share the parking lot. They are really close together. I just parked on the other side and I had no problems. In the beginning I parked near the lobby and all I smelled was weed in the parking lot from the hotel next door. Other than that small uncomfortable moment it was a great stay. The staff were super nice and friendly. I would stay again.

Everything was very clean and nice. I would stay there again for sure.

Clean and close to the highway!

Bed super uncomfortable- soft and lumpy. Hallways were dirty and smelled moldy. Trash wasn’t taken out with housekeeping, used towels were not replaced. Unpleasant enough that I opted to go home rather than have to stay the additional night I paid for

Outstanding staff. Very good location. Nice room. Swimming pool needs upgrade.

Excellent staff, they were very helpful in explaining the parking situation with the construction going on in the nearby lot. Extremely respectful and courteous. Good breakfast, easy parking, well kept rooms although showing some wear.

I was very satisfied with this hotel, very clean, very well kept and the staff did a great job taking care of anything that I required. I traveled with my dog and they were very accommodating in that regard as well.
