Prepaid, but didn't arrive at the time we thought we would. Called to report a later arrival and had a mishap conversation with the male attendant telling us we didn't call by 3 am to report a later arrival. Mind you I prepaid the whole trip coming from 6 states away. Said he would see if he could reinstate the reservation. I thought we were going to be stranded and stressed. Arrived by 5 am due to holiday traffic. Wasn't too pleased with the interaction. However we made it safely and checked in. The rest of the stay and attendants were wonderful and personable. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We were always greeted leaving and coming and someone was always at the front desk watching traffic. Breakfast area was clean and food was hot, like lite cooking at home.

This Holiday Inn Express is conveniently located but close enough to Philly. It is also very close to the best restaurant
that we have been to in a long time...The Old Town Pub!

It was very quiet here and the room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and close to many places to eat and the breakfast selection was very good.

Front desk staff didn't seem that friendly at first but they went above and beyond to address concerns and fix issues. There was some sort of stain on the mattress protector that they changed out for us no problem.
My main disappointment was the free breakfast. All the eggs contained cheese (lactose intolerant), the oatmeal looked like mush, and the bagel I opted for had no flavor and was way to bread-y. There was no healthy option except for bananas. What happened to the good free hotel breakfasts?

Bordentown NJ location...The hotel is fair and that's ONLY based on price. If anyone is expecting a quiet night I suggest they FIND ANOTHER HOTEL. Every night of a 5 night stay the level of noise was awful. First night a band played till 11pm. 2nd night people and small kids stomping around right above us. Incredibly loud. 3rd night another heard of children next door jumping and screaming. 4th night a party on one side of us carrying on till after 11pm and finally, the last night, a crowd of adults on the other side of us yelling at each other. I understand hotels can be expensive but a party with your family and friends in a 150 sq ft room is so disrespectful to other guests. Customer service is a misnomer.

The room smells good, the bed and mattresses are very comfortable but the towels are worn out and there was a hole in one of the bath towels and the bedsheets looks clean but there was a ripped on the edges of the comforter maybe its time to replace them.. thr place is quiet and have ample parking space... the breakfast is good enough to start your day... loved the free coffee at the lobby... anytime you want.

The Clerk assigned us to a room on the first floor. I asked if we could be on an upper floor. She said there weren’t any other rooms available. We get to our room and it’s a handicapped room with only a hand held shower and it could not be moved up to accommodate our heights. She called her manager and he faced times here while she showed him that the shower head was way too low for us and that this was a handicapped room. Not knowing if we could stay there, she left the room. Because apparently there were no other rooms. But magically a room appeared and it had a normal shower. The Clerk was very professional but the manager seemed annoyed that he had to move us. Please don’t but people in a handicapped room of they aren’t in a wheelchair!!!
