Holiday Inn Express SYRACUSE AIRPORT, an IHG Hotel

Great safe place to stay on short notice.

Unfortunately, the issue is the walls are thin in the rooms and my wife was told that going up to the third floor would be quieter and it was not… She did not get much sleep because of noise outside of the room. This is not the management issue… It’s the builders issue with creating a structure that does not allow a person to rest properly.

This hotel is 1.5 miles from the airport and has a free shuttle. The people at the hotel - Danielle in particular - were kind and friendly and made the whole experience completely worth it. I booked a night in this hotel the first time because it was close to the airport, but I chose to book another night in this hotel at the end of my stay in Ithaca because the staff was so wonderful.

Only stayed one night

The room I reserved was handicap accessible (for my mom and myself). The room was located right by the elevators, on the 2nd floor, directly above the entrance. So all night we heard loud voices by the elevator, and the entrance doors opening and closing. Plus the shades in the room did NOTHING to block out the blue neon sign from outside. It was like daylight all night. I got absolutely NO sleep, and had to be downstairs to catch a 4am shuttle. The desk NEVER called for our wakeup at 3am (requested 2x), and the people behind us in line did not receive theirs either! If you are going to charge $160/night AT LEAST have the desk staffed at all times! Or have a phone number posted to call for assistance. Super annoying to not have anyone their to ask to have our room moved! I live in Hawaii, but travel back to Syracuse every December for theholidays. Ive been staying at your hotel for the last 7years. I WILL NOT be returning. And you can be sure I will share this review across social media.

Would have been nice to know it was 15 dollar per day for parking to leave car while you are away on trip
