Prime location. I found everything to be very dark. Not enough light in common areas or even in the room. Rooms were clean though and staff very friendly. Laundry incredibly expensive. Breakfast was very boring and same items always. So evaluate that.

I would definitely stay here again. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating. The room size was very spacious and had a nice view all with a reasonable price! We really appreciated the bottled water and filling station as well.

Negative: no slippers and only one robe in room for a couple. The soap dispenser in shower didn’t work. Toilet seat was not a soft close seat. The big negative was no microwave in the room. Otherwise it was a very comfortable stay and would recommend to others.

I was disappointed I missed coffee in the morning because it wasn’t open before I had to leave for my daughter’s surgery. If there is a way to have it available earlier that might be helpful.
Also, the room next door to me was incredibly loud at night when I went to bed (around 10). I thought there was a party in the hallway but I believe it was in the room directly to my right. I did turn on a sound machine in my room which helped me get to sleep. I didn’t call the hotel staff who I’m sure would have spoken to them if I had asked.
The service in the lobby was excellent. Friendly and helpful.
I loved my room overlooking the Manhattan Bridge! Probably my favorite view from a hotel in this city so far!

We’ve stayed at the 50 Bowery several times and it’s always been great. The rooms are nice and bright and the Manhattan Bridge and Skyline views are great. No In room coffee but there is a nice set up on the 2nd floor where you can bring coffee or tea up to your room or eat in the well-appointed sitting area. We love the Lower East side and prefer it over uptown for the character. If that’s your preference too, then 50 Bowery is a great choice.
