Review for Hotel St. James (April 1–6) I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel St. James! The location is amazing — super close to everything, which made getting around so easy. My room was clean, cute, and cozy, just what I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was very helpful, and a special shoutout to Joey at the front desk — he’s the best! Only downside was that there was no fridge or coffee maker in the room, but honestly, I didn’t mind since I was out and about most of the time. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in town!

This was convenient to what we were doing but was no frills. Front desk was very friendly and helpful, room was clean with a comfortable bed (minimal amenities - no mini fridge or coffee maker). Water pressure was poor and took the shower a long time to get hot. Only two small, well-worn elevators, and hotel was very noisy. On second night, a woman was yelling somewhere in the hotel and other guests were yelling at her to be quiet (in Italian which was a nice touch). This was an affordable option but I wouldn't stay again.

I liked the Staff they were very friendly and helpful but the noise, you got to be able to sleep through it. Overall, location is convenient you surrounded by so much like 24 hrs coffee shop and sandwich shop if you wake up in the middle of the night hungry it's right next door, entertainment plus much more.

the hotel had a very European feel to it. Cozy. However, my door lock did not work properly which was frustrating. other then that the hotel management was very accommodating with my requests

The hotel St.James was in an excellent location a few minutes walk from Times Square and lots of restaurants. It was also near to a metro station. The hotel rooms were a good size and very clean. Would have been nice to have a kettle in our room, but there was a cafe next door where you could purchase a wide range of refreshments. We jad a vety good trip and was glad we picked this hotel.

I liked the "old feel" of the hotel. Staff was good, everything easy and fine. They even let us check in an hour early(on a Saturday, no less!)

The front desk was friendly and the lobby was very nice. They let you store your luggage for free and there were many places to sit in the lobby if your room wasn’t ready and you just needed to collect yourself. The room was very nice. It looked like it was nearly renovated. We were here for rainy April weather. I do worry about the circulation of the room in the summer because there was nowhere to control the temperature and it got a little bit stuffy and we didn’t want the window open. Overall, the location is perfect. There’s a great place to eat breakfast right next-door. It’s 24 hours and it’s like a convenient market about four blocks from Rockefeller Center and one block from Square. The location is perfect. I would definitely stay here again.
